We always love Clayton's. Last night there was no pizza, a problem when bringing grandkids. Also they never brought one app. Otherwise the food was good, service friendly and attentive. It's noisy and crowded but that's part of the charm!
The grouper and mahi tacos were excellent. The calm chowder was also very good. We had a large party (11) and their service was on point. We were immediately greeted, seat and had our drink orders in with a a few minutes. Multiple servers came out with our food at once so there was no waiting to eat. I highly recommend! Great service and great food!

Great food and excellent service. Claytons is always a must visit when we are in Siesta Key. 3 of us had the fresh catch - Sea Bass and 1 person enjoyed macadamia grouper. We all loved our meal. I started with the pineapple upside down martini - delish! We had the crab cakes and tuna appetizers. My favorite was the tuna but the crab cakes were also good. No room for dessert as we were too full. We will be back!

Excellent meal as always at Clayton's. Service was attentive and personable. Appetizer of calamari was very good, light and not greasy. My entree was the fish of the day and it was delicious, sea bass sautéed with spinach, mushrooms and fingerling potatoes. My husband had the pecan crusted grouped and it was excellent as well. We will definitely be back!
We have never had a bad experience at Clayton's. They have a fun selection of cocktails and delicious appetizers including some of the best coconut shrimp. The scallop entree is delightful as well as the macadamia crusted grouper. Dessert is always wonderful here as well. Kid friendly and delicious food!

We've eaten at Clayton's for the last few years when we come down in March, and I'm not sure we'll be going back. The service was mediocre, and the food nothing special. There were 3 of us; we all ordered different entrees (one being the fish special) and none of us were pleased. My husband asked to switch out the mashed potatoes for rice, and they said it would be a $4 upcharge to make any changes to the items on the menu. For white rice?! Too many other great places on the island to eat, we will not be hurrying back.
Always a wonderful dinner at Clayton's. Our server Fred was outstanding. Fish tacos were incredible. Grouper excellent. Be sure to have dinner at Clayton's when you have a chance

It was very busy but they did a great job all around. The food was excellent, perfectly prepared and very delicious. Service was great. They seemed short staffed but they came through in teamwork as they all helped each other out. You can see staff looking to see where they could help. Ie clearing dishes from the tables. We dine there every time we're in town for the past 20 years and will continue to do so. Highly recommend.

Food was good, but our server was not. Gave excuses as to why he was not available, but we still had to flag down manager to get any service. That being said, other servers we saw were attentive and seemed to be providing good service to their tables. Too bad one of them couldn't have stepped in to help out.
We love Clayton have been there twice this week. Never a bad meal. I had the Papel with a sausage absolutely delicious salads are great. My husband had the macadamia crusted grouper, delicious ! We always ask for Barbara to be our waitress. Excellent Customer Service very knowledgeable about the menu !!
Jessica - our waitress - was perfect. Great recommendations, attentive, and a complete joy ... Management was awesome checking on us and making sure everything was to our liking. Recommend the Calamari appetizer and macadamia grouper main course . Second time there and looking forward to our next visit...
We enjoyed a lovely meal at Clayton's tonight. We've had consistently good meals every time we've come. Leah, our server, was fantastic (sorry if I spelled her name wrong!)

We dined at Clayton's Siesta Grill on our first night of vacation (Saturday) because it was one of the few restaurants that takes reservations in the area. So glad we did! It was packed and without a reservation people were told the wait was 90 minutes or more. We were seated within 10 minutes of our reservation. Our server was excellent. The menu selections included lots of fresh seafood which we love to enjoy on the Gulf Coast. The blackened tuna tataki appetizer melted in your mouth. We aso enjoyed the Clayton's Pecan Old Fashion and the Pecan Manhattan cocktails. Delicious! It was loud inside but the covered patio was less noisy and comfortably warm with patio heaters. We highly recommend you try it!

Very good experience at Clayton's last evening despite their being extremely busy. I was worried service might be slow, but our server was very attentive and all the orders came out in a timely manner. The swordfish special was particularly good as was the macadamian crusted grouper.
