So the chicken teriyaki on a stick appetizer I think was a little bit burnt because it came out really dark and it normally isn't supposed to be this dark for chicken.I called in my order and I still waited on it when I got here just for two orders. It was very dry and definitely overcooked.

The food is really good here. I travel a lot for work and have had some bad experiences with Chinese food at other places, but this restaurant food was on point ? I ordered the shrimp ? fried rice ? and house Lo Mein to go. Was very pleased and even had space to park my rig around back. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely come back.

I have never been to such a bad and pathetic restaurant in my life. The food was terrible. The service ridiculous. And the cook screamed when we complained. I never complain but I did at this "restaurant."

The crab rangoons were pretty good. Better than most places, even. Pepsi is a fair dollar, and everything was appropriately hot or cold. The son told me a half order of rangoons would cost the same amount as a full order. I know that is either a lie or an unfair practice but either way it does not make me want to return. I’m certain now it was a lie and that the owner would surely not charge so much for a half order, and that they are also capable of making a half order very easily. This really pissed me off. I hate being lied to, and I hate being cheated just as much. The beef and vegetable was okay and even had mushrooms, however there was very little meat and it was bland overall, despite being covered in their sauce and oil. No spice at all with the vegetables or the beef. Very disappointing. The wonton soup was absolutely flavorless and difficult to eat as well, not because the wontons tasted bad (which they did)- but because the wontons themselves are so large it’s nearly impossible to break them up, even with utensils.I’d never tell anyone to go here, the place just doesn’t have a good atmosphere. I can spend my money with much nicer people, on much better food.

I've been eating at China Star mainly because it's convenient for several years. Lately when I order Krab Rangoon they substitute with fried wonton. I usually throw them away. Tonight I decided to call their attention to their mistake. The owner screamed at me at length that I had ordered fried wonton. Her son took my order. She was not willing to hear that this has happened repeatedly. I'm done. There are other places just as close. Their food is only average to begin with.

Awesome experience. Once in a life time food. Family owned business with very nice people. Their egg rolls are splendid

General tso chicken was cold and hard, scallop breading was very undercooked. Whole dish was dry and cold. Ordered extra spicy and it wasn't even a little spicy. I would have to say it was the worst I have had. Taking it back for a refund that's how bad it was. Last time here for me.Well. I went back 6 years later. The food was bland, bland, bland. No taste at all. My dinner combo did not have the fried rice or the egg roll. General tso chicken was horrible. Egg foo young had no taste. I’m so disgusted that I don’t even want to go back and complain. Save yourself a trip. Go to China One on Bee Ridge. Much, much better. Sorry they are closed on Tuesday so I went here. Big mistake! Huge!
