This place is easily the best Chinese food in the area! The quality is amazing and their service is always spot on. Highly recommend and you will enjoy it trust me I know!

Delicious! I was surprised that for a walk-in lunch they were so quick and having the food ready. The best chicken and vegetables I've ever had. I could have probably just made a meal out of the crabRagoons! Going to get a poo poo platter and split some fried rice next time.

They always have their 2 very little (4-6 year olds) kids hanging out unsupervised in the dining area making a huge mess and a lot of noise.I went for a pickup and saw the little boy (about 4 years old) running around the cooking area, standing very close to the fire and playing with and breathing on the plastic containers right before the cook was about to fill them.Ugh ? not only dangerous but kids carry kid viruses and breathing on the food containers before fulfillment is UNACCEPTABLE.They need to hire a babysitter to keep the kids (and their customers) safe.I would never feel comfortable eating their food after seeing this.

Best take out in Sarasota. They must use fresh ingredients because the food at China Taste comes out of the box tasting great. I think they make each order one at a time. There is nothing ever ordered from them that seemed like it was laying around and just heated up. Super nice family business that appreciates their customers. Give them a try if you haven't already.

My review is for takeout i had in November, 2023. The roast pork was tough as could be. I threw it out. Needs to be tender and thinly sliced, cubed or Julienned. My shrimp dish looked OK but the shrimp seemed like they were hanging around the kitchen forever Looked real terrible...not plump and fresh. Not bad; just thought it would look better. Also...dishes drowning in juice/oil. Need to get rid of excess oil. I had to pour out my shrimp & roast pork dishes. My steamed dumplings fine.

food was absolutely completely doodoo farts. genuinely bad. ordered a chow mein, and you know, chow mein is supposed to be a noodle dish. even listed as it comes with crispy noodles. nah they gave us fried wonton instead. the “chow mein” which was just sauce with mainly cabbage and a small amount of chicken that was bland. the mongolian beef was oddly sweet, and the only okay thing we got was the fried rice.

Nice, friendly, and fast food. My Broccoli w/ Chicken stir fry was excellent, my go to place for Chinese.
Terrible food. We ordered through a delivery service and ordered chow mein with crispy noodles, Mongolian beef, fried rice and crab Rangoon. Mongolian beef was too sweet, crab Rangoon was oddly sweet as well. Chow mein was just a quart of cabbage, onions, bean sprouts and chicken in slop. We didn't get the noodles and called the restaurant to tell them the noodles were missing. They told us that's what chow mein is--and the crispy noodles are the fried wonton strips-is we wanted a noodles dish, we should have ordered the lo mein. We're asian--we know that this sauce they call chow mein is BS. The only decent thing was the fried rice. Worst chinese food we've ever had.

I've yet to find a truly good Chinese restaurant in Sarasota, having enjoyed great meals in New York and San Francisco. This is basically a takeout place and it comes closest to delivering Chinese food, as I know it, worth getting out. Far from great but a cut above other similar basically "to go" places in the area that dish out what I'd best call Manhattan (New York) Upper West Side "Chinese" meals. The portions are very large and the service is friendly and patient.

We really enjoy Chinese food and eat it often. Ordered lunch takeout. General Tso chicken and Pepper steak. Price was reasonable. Good portions and food was hot. Food had NO flavor. The egg rolls tasted like they came from the grocery store freezer section. We did not enjoy our lunches at all. Would not recommend.
