We stopped there Thursday night before a show at the Van Wezel. Ordered the pretzels, a "personal size" Stromboli, a cobb salad, iced tea & water. First the bill was totally wrong charging for 2 sodas when my husband had water, charging $19 for a personal Stromboli (was supposed to be $10) with 2 toppings sausage & mushrooms that were i thought $2 extra price (very very few toppings in it mostly mozzarella cheese & really thick tasteless bread) a cobb salad that was not worth the price with hard chewy chicken. Credit was partially corrected but was told could not give a receipt for the credit even though we asked several times. Waiter seemed confused and we had to repeat several times what we wanted. Plus seemed apprehensive about my choice of toppings for some unknown reason?? By the time it arrived, We had to pack it up to go as we had to get to the show so weren't able to eat everything. The only thing good were the pretzels & queso dip. What we tried to eat later was very bland tasteless, and very disappointed in the food & our bill even though it was partially corrected. Bill mistakenly was $60 then corrected to $48. We will never go back. The food was not good at all! They need to address these issues as had we had time we would have spoken to a manager & sent the food back.

Worst sports bar I’ve been to in my entire life. No joke. Table not cleaned, beer took over 10 mins to arrive, and came out warm. Wings took 25 mins to come out and they gave us the wrong item. Once the correct item came out it was disgusting. We decided to call it quits and cancel the rest of our food, to which our waitress (who was horrible btw) had no clue what we were talking about. Terrible operation all around.

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was empty and my party of three were able to sit anywhere. We ordered the tots with cheese and the buffalo chicken dip for starters. Apps came out quick and tasted great. There was so much choices on the menu, we order the chicken Caesar wrap, the chicken Parmesan hoagie, and the club. Everything was great. Best place I tried all weekend.

I've been to Evie's on Bee Ridge many x- that 1 I like. This one I don't. I went during HH and ordered a well whiskey... Was charged full price despite what was clearly written on their HH menu, when I complained the waiter informed me that HH Wells only include shots. I know for a fact she was dead wrong but didn't push it.I won't be back, additionally the bar has the ambience and bright lighting of a Drs office.

We were looking for a place to go still dressed from the beach that had a relaxed vibe and stumbled upon Evies. I had a buffalo chicken Caesar and my husband had the Greek Bowl. Fabulous!!!! The bartender (we sat at the bar) was fabulous!!! She had a lot of customers her attention was focused and not hurried. Love her!! Great sports bar atmosphere but the only deduction was for the lack of ambience. But for a Sports bar/Pool playing game playing place amazing!!! Totally sending our adult children here and we would come back for sure

The best Evie's location in the area. The beer and food were both perfect and the atmosphere was very inviting. Will definitely be back.
Food was mediocre at best, very plain, missing things on order. Service was bad. Waitress avoided table, took forever to take orders, never asked for refills, had to chase down to get bill.
Yesterday I arrived a few minutes before 2 PM… The place was not busy. I waited at least 10 minutes for the server to come to my table and greet me. She asked if I wanted a food menu and I said yes. I waited another 10 minutes + for the menu to arrive. It was a total of 30 minutes plus before I had my order taken and then more time passed before even had a glass of water on my table. When the food and drink finally came, it was very good… Delicious burger. But this was literally the worst service that I have received in a very long time. While I waited, I watched the service that the bartender was giving and she was on top of everything and very good…Unfortunately, I wasn’t seated at the bar and I got a server who did not care at all.I recommend that you sit at the bar if you go to this place, otherwise be prepared to wait for a very long time.
