Fast to make

Immediately when I arrived, things were a bit of a mess. There is no signage to indicate where the front is nor where to wait to be served. After about 10 minutes of being there and 3 people asking if I have been helped, I was finally helped and taken to my table. The service was okay, my water was empty about halfway through my appetizer and it was never refilled. I think it was one server for the outdoor section so I realize that it is busy, but I do think going more than half a meal with no water refill is a bit unreasonable. It also took quite a long time to get our entree when it was just a pizza and people who came as much as 20 minutes after us were served their entrees before us (many of which contained pizza). I got the Fritto Misto and the Pizza Carnivora. The Fritto Misto was delicious, by far some of the best calamari I have ever had. However, there were only 2 pieces of shrimp. I think it should come with at least 3 or 4, but that's just me. The sauce that came with it was a 10/10, very delicious and compliments the flavors nicely. The Pizza Carnivora was not my favorite. It was very hard to pick up without the toppings sliding right off, but I used a fork and a knife to compensate. It seemed as if there was no cheese and barely any sauce. My boyfriend and I were not fans of the sausage that came on it either, but that could just be our preference. We were going to get the tiramisu but I honestly did not want to wait any longer to be served or get dessert so we left. Overall, I wouldn't go again.

The atmosphere was nice however, our service was very slow for drink refills, food and pre-bussing. All we ordered was a pizza and kids spaghetti, it took over an hour and the pizza was room temperature.

Excellent Italian food -- lobster linguini, mushroom linguini. Great strawberry martinis, too! The host yelling about needing help to seat all the people coming in took the atmosphere down a notch!

Flavio's SK Village has been our favorite authentic Italian restaurant for a decade. Our latest meal last Sunday was like all the others - perfetto!!. Pizza and wine were exceptional. Staff were engaging and helpful. Ambiance was pure Flavio. Looking forward to dining at Flavio's downtown Sarasota before we leave at the end of March. Bravo Flavio's!!

We stopped here for the first time, and it happened to be happy hour, which ends at 6pm. We sat at the bar, had drinks, and ordered a pizza that was delicious. Fun vibes, definitely gets busy later on in the evening. Fun place to check out!
