The food was good. Instead of all you can eat sushi bar, you need to order them. The service was a bit slow because it was during lunch time and there were so many people. It’s pretty noisy in here and only one lady was attentive and checking on my table a couple times.I like Eel and Salmon so I ordered Green Dragon Roll and Crazy Salmon Roll. Few of Eel Sushi, Seaweed Salad, Kani Salad, Miso Soup, Sesame Ball with red bean paste inside, and Green Tea Ice Cream. My Fave is Eel Sushi! They said the dinner menu has more options and you also can order 6pc of Sashimi. I might try this next time even it costs $10 more.

Didn't get to try it...no one answered my phone calls. The website said that they were open.

If I can leave no starts I’ll do it but this place doesn’t serve you even if you come here 45min before they close. Worst service ever and the hostess even worst(girl with the short hair) will never recommend this place.

This was by far the best, hottest, most fresh, delicious meal that we have had in so long. Not to mention, our waiter was extremely good! He helped explain everything from the second we entered. He keep our drinks filled. He was on top of everything with our food. Everything came out so very fast. You could just tell the oils used to cook our food were clean & fresh. Those were absolutely the best spring rolls I have ever tasted. My husband said the same for his egg rolls. The California Roll was amazing. My kids even ate it with me, for the 1st time & 2 out of 4, loved it! The lomein noodles were extremely good! By far the best that we have tried in SWFL! The rice was better too. It wasn't all dry & crunchy. The restaurant was very clean & the atmosphere was great, with happy families mingling everywhere. 100% a 10/10, must see/must try. The only thing that we missed was the actual hibachi fire show, at the table, but that's okay, the rest was worth it.Kid-friendliness: Our waiter was extremely kind to our 4 kids.

I love eating here. I get the 'all you can eat' option. It is not a buffet; they periodically ask you what/if you want more. They are not stingy. The food is great! I go for 'fusion' style sushi, sour/spicy soup, shrimp teriyaki and some of the more 'traditional' squid suchi. Of the fusion stuff, my favorites are Golden California, Ginza Roll and Black Dragon Roll. I have had the food delivered before, but the in-restaurant all you can eat is actually much more economic.

Pretty much mid tier across the board. Tuna quality is good. Salmon is not. The steak I'm the hibachi is very tough and the rice tastes microwaved. Spicy tuna roll was good. It's the exact quality of an all you can eat so you know I can't really complain but I probably won't come back.

Had the wonton soup. It was yummy!Waited a bit too long to cash out so I ended up leaving cash and walking out, may have been a newer server, but his manner was cordial.Pleasant decor and environment.

HORRIBLE SERVICE THE WAITRESS WAS HORRIBLE Although the atmosphere was pleasant, my dining experience fell short in several aspects. The food, while okay, didn't quite hit the mark in terms of taste, especially with the disappointing mushy texture of the sushi, except for the hand rolls. Additionally, the service was lacking, with disorganized staff and slow order fulfillment. While there were some positives, such as prompt service and a nice ambiance, the overall experience was marred by these shortcomings.

During our visit to Ginza in Sarasota, we were immediately impressed by the seamless service, starting with being seated right away thanks to our reservation. This all-you-can-eat sushi and hibachi haven offers an efficient and fast service, making our dining experience smooth and enjoyable. Our party of six adults all opted for the all-you-can-eat dinner, priced at approximately $30 per person, including taxes, which we found to be a great value. The restaurant boasts a cocktails menu, adding a delightful touch to our meal with the option to pair our dishes with a refreshing drink. When it comes to the food quality, Ginza stands out from other all-you-can-eat diners, offering a higher quality of dishes, though it might not rival the exclusivity of single-order establishments. However, the extensive choice of dishes more than compensates for this, ensuring that there's something for everyone to enjoy.Overall, Ginza in Sarasota offers a satisfying dining experience for those looking for a variety of sushi and hibachi dishes at a reasonable price point. While the quality may not surpass that of more upscale, single-order diners, the wide selection and the efficiency of service make it a worthwhile visit for any group looking to enjoy a good meal together. A solid 4-star experience for anyone craving Japanese cuisine in a buffet style.

Just recieved my order, the only thing I asked for was extra spicey. Not even close. More sweet then anything. I ordered hot and sour soup, Singapore Mei-fun, and sesame chicken, all extra spicey. Not even close. Taste like candy.
