Had a great dinner. Our waiter Matt was very busy but still very attentive, smiling and friendly. His suggestions for food was spot on as it was mine and Stevens first time here. When he went on break a waitress by the name of Barbara came over and asked if we needed anything. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. Steven ordered the lasagna and it was very light and very fluffy. There was atleast, to my eye, a half inch of meat between layers. The manager, Dave, explained that everything is made fresh in house that day. Also, taking into account how everything is made fresh daily the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

When we walked in the chef stepped out from the kitchen & his black apron had flour all over the front of it so I figured everything was homemade. Everything was homemade, the pizza & pasta were fabulous! I'll definitely be back for more.

We arrived at the pickup lane at 25 minutes after our order was placed, having been told our pizza would be ready in 20 - 25 minutes. When they didn't bring out our pizza, we went into the nearest door and were rudely told to get out. Then someone came out and told us our pizza would be ready in 20 more minutes and, again, rudely told us to move the car out of the pickup lane. When we finally got the pizza and got home with it, the pizza was cold as well as the 2 other dinners from Geckos. I will absolutely will never go back to Goodfellows and cannot believe someone recommended it. Call them Badfellows with bad pizza.

We’re here for about 4 months in the winter and a month in the late summer, This is our go to place almost once a week. Love to have a beer or glass of wine and get a large Meatzilla and house salad to go. Dave, the owner is a great guy and a true renaissance guy(makes his own wine, plus a million other things).I kid him about being from Colo, as I’m from Kansas, but then we’re not rivals since CU fled the Big 8/12. Enough said, please enjoy his place and good food!

We went here based on the reviews and were a little surprised when we got there. The homemade wine was very young and didn’t offer a lot. The pizza was good. The server gave us everything we asked for and more. Overall, this wasn’t a bad experience, just not the 4 th best pizza place in Sarasota.

The food was delicious!!! Ashley, Lauren and Matt were absolutely wonderful! We missed seeing Dave. Hope to see you later this week before we leave back for New York! Everything was great, service was excellent! Gelato put us over the edge!!! Love this restaurant!!

We had the best pizza yet here at Goodfellas, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Crust was thin and crispy and the ingredients were fresh. Even the chef was in on the love. This is a small family owned restaurant, not a chain. So, if you like a big fat puffy high calorie factory made crust, this is not the place for you. Go to Domino's for that. Great live music, too. BTW, for the complainers - small family-owned restaurants have really had a tough go of it over the last 20 months, and with current staff shortages everywhere, I think we need to be a little more understanding and patient. Give 'em a break. And, to the 'delivery scam' reviewer - anybody can setup a delivery service website. This does not necessarily mean they are affiliated with the restaurant. You can't blame the restaurant for that. Blame yourself for not being an alert consumer.
