I wanted to fall in love with his place, and the reviews that I read made that thought very promising. Maybe I was there on an off night. The atmosphere and the service were exemplary. The food was good but not great. My wife and sister-in-law had moussaka. She has eaten it at many restaurants. Something she makes at home. And she has worked as a chef at her restaurant. She felt it lacked flavor and was bland. I had the Greek Giouvetsi. Essentially a lamb stew with pasta. It was cooked well, but in the same vein as the moussaka, lacked flavor and was bland. While it is good, solid food, and the extensive menu makes it a good choice for varied diners, there is room for improvement.

We had dinner at the Greek Taverna last night and enjoyed not only the food but the courteous service we received. We got there quite late, around 7:30, but we receive great attention and our food was served hot and all the choices we made were great. Thanks for the nice evening we had.

I found the Greek Taverna when I first moved to the area and was homesick missing my Greek family’s cooking. I was so happy to have found this place, it made me feel like I was right back at home. The food is amazing and authentic coming from a Greek. I will be back again soon!

Maybe other dishes are good but skip the carbonara. It was overcooked, swimming in sauce, with no panchetta or scallions. When I said I didn't like it no attempt at making it better was offered. Thankful that the salad and wine was good. Will try again but will stick to the Greek dishes.

We started with the hummus and pita- authentic and delicious. Warm pita was really special. Then our great server had us try both the bean and lentil soup. The lentil soup was amazing. I make it at home but don't get the depth of favors like theirs. I need to know all the seasoning. Next we split the stuffed tomatoes and pepper. So good with raisins. I only wish it had a "kick" of spicy something. But so comforting. Good place we will be back with a larger group. Then we can try more dishes!!

We had dinner at the Greek Taverna tonight and it was awesome! We had traditional Greek food from Greek Country bread to moussaka, spanakopita and for dessert a decadent piece of Galaktoboureko. It was warm right from the oven. It is made of phyllo dough, a creamy custard filling, and an unbelievable syrup, made with sugar, water, honey, cinnamon, and lemon zest. We will definitely be back.

Homemade Greek food at reasonable prices. Small local restaurant, with intimate charm. You can tell the food is made with care.

We love this unassuming restaurant. The Greek chicken is tender and flavorful. It's our favorite. We eat there at least once a month.

We were the only diners on a Friday night, which i will never understand. The food was absolutely delicious—one of the best spinach pies I’ve had in my life. The house salad was fresh and had great flavors and presentation. The server was friendly and attentive. Clean, welcoming, and super yummy! We will definitely return!

I enjoyed my meal - I had the lamb gyro and my friend had the moussaka. Both dishes were very tasty. Service was also good. So service, food and ambiance were exceptional.

This place is so adorable inside. The music really transport you into the culture and the waitress we had was truly such a pleasant person to be around. She was very nice with explaining stuff whenever we had questions. She even showed us what she used to do as a kid with the Greek coffee! The food was amazing as well and you can tell the cook really has a passion for the culture and the quality of the food, 10/10 better than truly Greek all around.

It is a very hostile place. The owner stopped my car from parking lot to ask questions on service and complaint about tip not being huge enough. I regret going there. He was so agressive and insulting in his approach, my kids in car were so overwhelmed by his act. I would recommend never to go there

Delicious very authentic food Shhhh…the food is even better than my grandmother’s! The Greek Taverna is a go-to favorite for my parents who take me there when I visit . Vanessa is a warm and welcoming manager who knows the regulars’ order by heart. Lamb Gouvetzi, Greek salad, grilled octopus and souvlaki are winners. The shopping center looks run down but step inside to enjoy this gem!

The food was delicious but portions size were small. Price was average. Restaurant was small but nice to keep the atmosphere of Greece
