I use take out from Hideko about twice a month. My last trip recently was a big disappointment. The fried spring rolls were especially greasy and dark didn't eat them all. The pad Thai wasn't really good. The noodles were overcooked not much flavor. When one uses take out no matter what restaurant it's a hit or miss good or bad meal. Seems as though overcooked or undercooked food is given to the take out folks. I eaten in and out of restaurants where I get takeout and there is a great disparity on the difference in the meals which to me is lack of integrity of the restaurant and its employees. You get paid the SAME amt of money but get a lesser quality meal and I always put a tip on the bill or in the jar. I believe I will have to rethink that.

Placed an Uber Eats order for two dishes order well before closing time on a Saturday evening. The restaurant accepted and dishes were being prepared. THIRTY minutes later they CANCELED the order. Absolutely ridiculous and infuriating.

This is a small, quiet, neighborhood place with good food. The soups are delicious, the vegetable spring rolls are fresh with a delicious sauce & the garlic chicken is great. Also love the curries here. Definitely recommend.

The Best…aroouund (cue Karate Kid song). We recently moved south and miss this place a lot. The food here is excellent. I always get thai hot chicken pad thai, and it couldn’t be better. Got my parents addicted to this place since they live around the corner. I make it a point to order from here when I visit. Super friendly service, always accurate on the orders, always fresh and delicious. As someone that loves thai food, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT.

Always a win! Their food is delicious! We eat in sometimes, and also do takeout.Parking: There’s a wing place right next door, so there can be times when a close parking spot is more challenging. It’s worth the wait or the short walk!

Went here based on the positive reviews. Very worth it! As others mentioned, food was good & fresh. Service wonderful. We had the vegetable tempura appetizer and the tempura was nice & light. Rainbow roll was larger than expected and fresh. We chose the Drunken Noodles based on Yelp reviewers and it was good. I do look forward to trying the curries though! Cost was average and for good food to be expected. Not too pricey. Will definitely be back!
Ate here based on the reviews and was not disappointed. We have had sushi and Thai all across the country and this lives up. We had the tempura which was nice and light. Then the Rainbow roll that was fresh . We chose the drunken noodles based on the reviews and while very good and would definitely order again, we look forward to trying the curries next as other review places list that as a top dish. For those who felt the portions were small, we didn't find that at all and found them more generous than other areas. The same with the price. We had the above with sake and it was a very normal price. Very good service and will be back!

Absolutely the best pad Thai in Florida and even the east coast! Noodles was cooked perfectly, not too soft, with every noodles generously coated in an unmatched semi-sweet-savory-nutty-spicy sauce. Red curry was really special. Beef noodles soup was also good. All flavors balanced nicely. Nothing was dry or salty.Props to the chefs!! GO GO if you just want really delicious authentic Thai food. Forget the other fancier competitions with these “fusion food” that’s either too salty, bland or not authentic. Support this restaurant so they stay in business forever. Hidden gem in Sarasota-Bradenton.
