Bit costly $$$ but one of the best places I have been in. I don't review all places I go to but this is totally 5 star. We had 6 people and we ordered some appetizers and lab chops as main plus other things. Every plate and drink was delicious. But mostly this place worth its money is the stuff (sevrers)! All of them nice and polite even management.

Second terrible experience in a row.- Our waiter was so bad they had to replace him with another waiter. No apology from the manager.- My wife ordered a glass of wine, which she only received after 35 minutes and us asking for it several times. Our new waiter apologized, but no word from the manager.- An hour after we put in our food order the manager walked up to our table and apologized for the ‘delay’ - the chef had burnt our food and it would be out shortly. 20 minutes went by and we still didn’t receive anything. At this point we had spent 1.5 hours at this place, so we cancelled our food and asked for the check.Received no apology from management, a silly apology from our second waiter, and got comped for absolutely nothing. If you’re looking for a nice night out with good (or just acceptable) service, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

Chris was very kind and attentive. Second sever, his partner (older and bald) is the reason we will not be back. First steak was burnt, he asked if I ordered it that way. Then he stated that we didn't understand how making a steak worked, and that in order for it to be medium well, it had to be cooked on a high heat thus resulting in a charred edge. The second steak was still not medium well; It was just well and only lightly burned. I informed him that it wasn't cooked properly and showed it to him. He blamed it on bad lighting and after turning on the phone light, I cut it 2 more times at his request, trying to find any pink. There was the tiniest spot of red in the tender spot. He claimed happily that that's medium well and went on to say that the pink only shows up in the tender part of the steak. I showed him my mother's steak, which was also medium well and properly done. He cut us off, saying that she must be cutting it incorrectly. After still going back and forth a bit, I asked "So if you're saying that my steak, which basically has no pink, is medium well and therefore correct, are you suggesting that my mothers' steak that has visible pink throughout is actually medium and therefore incorrect?". He sighed heavily, threw his hands up and walked away. He never came back, avoided walking by our table and we were thoroughly irritated. For a bill that was almost $300 at a venue like that, I don't expect to be argued at. There's no reason that two steaks ordered for the same table are both so drastically different.I could have gone to Longhorn Steakhouse, paid $20 and gotten a better steak.

What ever you do, do NOT park your car at Hyde Park valet. I parked my 100k car there last Friday night for all the stuff in my center council got stolen and everyone is clueless. With TWO different stories, the story I was given was not the story they told the cops.Hyde Park blames the valet company. Fair enough. So I spoke to the valet company “owner” and the owner didn’t even care to hear what I said. “Burke” who owns the company said word for word he’s not forking over anything and hung up on me.Mind you, Hyde Park Steak House tells you to park your car with their valet service, but then when everything gets stolen out of your car, they want nothing to do with it either. So be AWARE of Hyde Park and the valet service they offer! Also, for Hyde Park Steakhouse to supposedly be a “high class steakhouse” they handled the situation in the most disgusting unprofessional manor ever. The “general manager” called me a liar in so many words. I use to go once a week, will NEVER BE BACK!!!!!!!

The 36-day dry aged rib eye was terrible. 60 percent of it was grizzle and uneatable. Very disappointing. The service and other food was nice, but their top steak was beyond disappointing.

Classy atmosphere and we had outstanding service! Crab cake app was fine. Grilled corn w/pancetta side was amazing. Not too sweet or salty... tasted fresh/highly recommend! Husband was happy with sea bass. They were out of American waygui. Server recommended filet over ribeye. Filet was tasteless, dry, and disappointing, which ruined an otherwise great experience.

This was a celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary and our evening started off on a sour note. Upon arrival, the hostess staff were very cold and took us to a table that was out in the middle of the dining area and right next to a very busy pathway. When I told her this was a special celebration and would it be possible to get a booth, she was visibly irritated and took us back to the hostess stand where we waited for about 10 minutes with no update on what was going on. They finally escorted us to a booth and from there, the evening went very well. David, the GM, approached us and made us feel very welcome and our server, Ed, was excellent. We were treated to a complimentary maple glazed bacon appetizer which was delicious. My Wagyu filet and my wife's filet were delicious and done to perfection. The sides of Au Gratin potatoes and creamed corn were very good and we were even treated to a special anniversary dessert. As we were leaving, the hostess staff, although not very busy at that point, did not bother to say good-bye or thank you so the end of the evening was a little disappointing also. It is unfortunate that the poor attitude of the two hostesses can have such a detrimental effect on a customer's experience and it is noted that this issue is addressed in a few other reviews. I would hope that management would put forth the effort to try and re-train these ladies and if not improved, move them to a non customer facing location as they are a detriment to your fine establishment.
