Having married into a rather large Puerto Rican family, and visiting them in their new found homes in Sarasota/Bradenton FL, I was amazed having a 20+ family reunion at the Latin Quarter restaurant- it was like being back in PR again! The amazing food ( Mofongo, Bacalaitos, Tostones, etc) The service, ambience, decor, and friendliness were " muy simpatico!
It was unfortunately a let down during my last visit with Latin Quarters. Service was speedy, and our waitress was nice, but uninformed on the food and juices when we had questions. I received my Alcapurria de Yuca with paper still attached (I'll note it was fairly large and hard to miss) and fried into it, the juice was made with concentrate and didn't taste anywhere near fresh. The maduros were fine, and the bacalao was decent, but every other measure failed to meet expectations, especially at the price.I'd suggest FIVE GUYS next door ?

The food is so good. The music isn't too loud and I sat right in front of the speakers. Service was great. Definitely will be back whenever in this area again.
So this was my first time dining here and my was it wonderful, the food, staff, music, and drinks. Also who ever makes that soup, it tastes so good and I honestly have never had something absolutely amazing. The plantains really went well with it too, my server was amazing & I will be back again ☺️✨

I was disappointed about the chicken wrap it’s was so cold and when I when with my first bite the wrap break iI easy . Very nasty the Flavor the chicken look like it came from a frozen bag.. I told them I waited so long that I’m not hungry anymore and I rather to go pay only for my son food.They give me a hard time saying that I need to tell them right away when it’s cold, which I did but the girl ordered a new one when I I told her I didn’t like it. They were trying to push me on a food that I didn’t like it. They don’t have any good service very unprofessional.

Horrible service, call to get pasteles frozen and they send you on a run around. Saying that you have to call and that there is no order. When I called a week ago and they said no order had to be placed for frozen pasteles. Thank you, but no thank you! I'll pass, outside of that, I can make everything else myself! Next year, we'll just make the pasteles ourselves! Very good at hanging up the phone on you too! ??
