Came here for blackened grouper and salads, was absolutely not disappointed. Everything was perfect. Great food, good service, nice atmosphere. Will definitely come back next time we are in town.

While the service at Lucky Pelican was top-notch, unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the food. Despite the anticipation, the dishes fell short of expectations, with flavors that were lacking the freshness and depth one would hope for.Considering the prices, the overall experience was ultimately disappointing.While the attentive service may warrant a return visit, it's difficult to justify the cost.

Be Mindful of Your Bill at Lucky Pelican!We're regulars at Lucky Pelican, visiting at least once a week. The food is consistently good, especially the fish dip, which comes with bread and cucumbers. However, our recent experiences have left a sour taste. They've started charging extra for the bread and cucumbers, above the menu price! To make matters worse, they add a 3.5% fee for debit card payments, which is unfair since debit cards are equivalent to cash.While the food is enjoyable, the service is just average. We hope Lucky Pelican reconsiders these practices to maintain a loyal customer base.

Solid 4. To get a 5 requires a bit better all around. The wait to be seated was quite a let down (standing at the entrance waiting on a hostess for 7 minutes). Our server was great but was extremely rushed, which is okay for a cheap restaurant - not a place where you drop $18 on a burrito....The food was pretty good! No complaints there. The location is nice, it could be considered a hidden gem if the total package was better. Overall we liked our experience but at the price we paid, we most likely will not be back. Sorry management.

Pleasantly surprised by this place. Been here a long while and I never went until recently. Best time to go is when they first open because they get busy and it's rather small. Octopus was awesome and the sweet potato fries!

Came here for the first time, outside rush hours. The outside seating is lovely, but you lose a bit of the server’s attention. The food was ok-ish. We had the fish&chips and the oyster/shrimp plate. Unfortunately, the meats were soaked with oil, and you could feel that the oil was a bit old by the taste of the fries.Will definitely return to see if it’s actually better and we were just unlucky.
Party of 9 only one person had a meal that was not over cooked. Even children's chicken fingers and cheese burger was very over cooked. My shrimp po boy sandwich would have been better if the shrimp were not over cooked and didn't didn't still have a few tails left on them... Because I was starving and it took awhile I still ate it. They did take half off but man our bill for 2 adults and 2 kids was still $100. Probably the worst $100 I spent on food in quite some time. The staff was friendly but not the food lol.
