Service very underwhelming. Thirty minutes to get a "what are we having? " Long-haired waiters hair was inches from salad he tossed tableside. We toasted our birthday celebrant with water, since drinks were slow in coming.

This place remains excellent over the years, and is a little gem tucked in the south end of Siesta Key. Go here for a nice dinner!!We had a great early bird dinner with friends so we could catch sunset at Point of Rocks beach after. Everything was great, the petit filet mignon, the grilled filet de boeuf forestire, with a ragout of oyster, portobello and cremini mushrooms, and the grilled redfish with romescu sauce, all were served with soup (do Garlic), salad, a small veggie plate app, mashed potatoes, sautéed green beans and a carrot mash and dessert. All dishes were excellent! They also served happy hour drinks with the early bird dinners, which was a nice surprise! Also had desserts of bread pudding, homemade strawberry ice cream, chocolate mousse and red velvet cake. All desserts were good as well.

This French restaurant is located in a nondescript retail shopping center. The atmosphere is quiet with an older crowd. Garlic toast was brought to the table and it was delicious. We had the escargot as an appetizer. It was good, although I would've preferred it to be served in simply melted garlic butter, rather than what tasted like a combination of olive oil, melted butter, and white wine. The maple vinaigrette dressing for the salad was unique and delicious. Our two entrées were very good. My wife had the mussels Normandy. She screened the sauce for every last bit of mussel, mushroom, and whatever else was in the sauce. I got the veal Oscar. It was tender and delicious. Prices were reasonable. Highly recommend.

What an excellent find! We had the French onion soup and it was the best I've ever had! The Caesar salad was so good and so fresh. They make the dressing fresh at your table. Never had that before. My husband and I had the veal piccata which we loved! Then for dessert we had apples Normandy for dessert. What a fun show and yummy to boot! We will be coming back again.

More excellence at Miguel's! Each dish expertly prepared. Salads and desserts made table side adds to the dining experience!

We went there to celebrate our 60th Wedding Anniversary because they serve Chateaubriand which is Our traditional anniversary meal. We were very disappointed when we recieved our food which we asked to be Medium (Pink but no Blood) and it was well done .... dry not juicy and the outside was BURNT (Seared is one thing BURNT is not acceptable) we ate it after trimming off the outside edge. We would have sent it back but we had waited an hour to get it in the first place. The atmosphere sucked since there was so many people at tables that the waitress had a hard time moving around to serve people their food. So much for a Romantic Dinner. We will be looking for a different place to celebrate our 61st Wedding Anniversary next year ... The Lord Willing

Service TERRIBLE!!! After 2 hours of waiting finally served entrees. Food cold. Came out one plate at a time for our party of 6. Waiter was rude and non responsive to questions about what is gluten free on menu. Will never go back.

We usually go to early bird special. Lots of choices on the menu. Prompt and friendly service.

The only good part was the french onion soup and escargots. I couldn't tell if my steak was meat or a piece of charcoal. The desserts were very underwhelming and apparently since the 7/11 gas station next door ran out of bananas, so did the restaurant. I will not be going back.

What a great spot! We tried the Early Dining (4-6pm). Garlic soup was special. Steak & Duck fat fries was tender & tasty. Filet mignon was delicious. And don't miss the banana supreme dessert!

Absolutely all around worst experience I could imagine. We were seated in a crowded aisle where they obviously stuck us to force more seating.Service was so unprofessional and totally inept. Waiter didn't have a clue and acted like he didn't want to be here. The food??...HORRENDOUS.DISGUSTING SLOP is what it was. We sent it back for a different dish that would be hard to not prepare properly.(How can you mess up a filet mignon, well at best it was edible)..stay away from the cordon blue, more like cordon black...the chef here is is totally inept in knowing how to prepare what's on the menu...SAVE YOUR $$$ and Don't waste your time here.....A TRULY DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE!!!
