We didn’t have reservations but do suggest on a Friday night. Heidi, the owner, quickly accommodated our group of six. We were right in front of the entertainment gentleman who quickly got us into the festivities with hats for all of us. The entertainment was quite enjoyable! My spouse and I had potato latkes as an appetizer which were good with applesauce. We all ordered various types of schnitzel. Our son likes schnitzel so we had to try! He thoroughly enjoyed his dinner along with a few genuine tall glass beers. Our meals were plentiful but lacked much flavor. Definitely need to order a sauce to go along with the meat! Lots of other meal options. Would probably go back for Rouladen, German Beef Rolls.

Great german food. classic german place, from the decor to the menu. the potato pancakes are made fresh. the pork knuckle was as good as germany. the spaetzle was the best i have had in the States. The red cabbage was excellent - not to heavy or salty. good beer list. definitely be back.

One of the most fun experiences I've had in a long time! They ended up having a performer Saturday night who sang and had everyone up and dancing. On top of that the food was exceptional and the staff very kind and friendly. Very fun place for traditional German food - even some vegetarian options! Give it a try!!!

Call for a reservation, restaurant is mall and gets crowded with local residents and on tap. A variety of meats available with sides and gravies. The desserts are mouthwatering .

When we arrived for our 6:30 reservation, we were greeted by a Musial. A lovely idea, if the only table is being leaned up by the Musial who is standing at his keyboard. He had to move his flugelhorn horn for us to sit down. The room is way too small for that live music. Because I am allergic to vegetable oil, I asked the waitress if I could get schnitzel. “No.” Just no. Not I’ll talk to the chef and see what I could have. So, among other things, I ordered potato pancakes, easily pan fried in butter. Dinner arrived and, surprise. Deep fried potato pancakes. No restaurant should make that kind of mistake. That can be life threatening. Then came the mandatory singing, enforced by the very energized owner’s trying to whip up the group. Just when we thought it couldn’t get worse, we were treated to Alpine bells and the flugelhorn horn, right up close and personal. What a miserable evening, and expensive, too.

It is the second time we visited this little restaurant. This time we went with friends. This place is an experience. The owner, Heidi is full of personality and very welcoming. The day we were there they had a problem with the air conditioner and all the staff went out of their way to make up for it. As I said, this is a tiny place so you definitely should make a reservation. The decor is very Eastern European and when we were there there was entertainment, a gentleman playing an accordion. Now the best part, the food. I had a Wiener schnitzel with jager sauce. It was fried perfectly. All the schnitzels allow you to choose the sauce of your liking with 2 sides. I chose spatzel with Apple sauce. I finished my meal with an apple strudel. Yum! They have an extensive beer selection and wine. Lots of fun and good food!

To start, I wanted German food, and my Husband and I wanted to go somewhere different for our 43rd Anniversary, and I found this Restarant that I thought might be good for a change, and boy was it!! We were taken to our table in the back room, and right away we were taken back to yesteryear. I only spent a month in Germany, and my Husband worked in a German restaurant in Key Largo (Hilda's) that's not there any longer. So we had Jenifer (our server) that was excellent at customer service, She was very attenuative to her tables, and what was needed (if anything else) and of course kept our Authentic Beers coming. The food was absolutely superb!!!! Heidi, she's the owner/cook. She also made sure that everything was as expected. And My Husband couldn't say anything else last night Jan. 26, 2023, but, that it's been a long time since we had such a Great Meal, Great Atmosphere, and an all-around enjoyment of the food, the people around us enjoying everything, talking about life and laughing!! Something that we don't see much anymore, is True Enjoyment of the being together. and not on their phones!!!! We enjoyed being Happy on Our 43rd Anniversary at this Restaurant, and with good people around us !!!! Heidi, is an Awesome Hostess, as well as owner, and Cook!! The Food was Exceptional. Those who complain about this place, they live to complain wherever they're at!!!! So, they're also open when the Snowbirds go home!!!!

This wunderschön little restaurant left us speechless and looking forward to our next visit. We met out of town friends for dinner and the food and service were simply outstanding. We had the potato pancakes, pretzel/beer cheese and kinder sausages for starters. My wife said the pancakes were the best she’s ever eaten. The sausage came with a mustard that was a perfect accompaniment. Entrees ordered were the Weiner Schnitzel, Schnitzel von Schwein, Rouladen and Goulash. Sides included Spätzle, Potato Dumpling, Red Cabbage and Cucumber Salad. All were exquisitely tasteful. For desert we had the ApfelStrudel and the Windpuff…a simple OMG suffices. Chef Heidi and her wunderbar staff performed perfectly. Visit them and be transported back to Deutschland and know it doesn’t get more authentic in SW Florida. Danke schön…Prost!

Run, don’t walk, to then schnitzel kitchen! So much fun, authentic German food and the owner Heidi is a hoot. My head was spinning looking at all the decorations and picking out ones we had in our homes as kids! The food brought back memories of Oma in the kitchen. Get das boot and hoist a toast to schnitzel kitchen. Prost!

We arrived with no reservations around 5:30 and were seated right away . I would suggest making reservations especially "in season" . We live in N Carolina and go to Helen Georgia , known for its Octoberfest and Alpine village . This year our experience their was close to a disaster . The Schnitzel Kitchen fixed our late Octoberfest fix with flying colors . Excellent food , cold cold beers and friendly service . The place has a fun atmosphere so this is not your quiet romantic place to go but if you want good German food make a reservation and head here . The owner Heidi is a blast as well ..................
