We don't eat Mexican often, been wanting to go here and we were not disappointed! It's in a strip mall, but don't let it fool you. I had the Sopes, they were huge! We sat at the bar and the bar tender was great, very attentive and friendly! This was our first time here, we will be back.

If you have not gone into Mr. Tequila you need to. I saw it in the Cattleman Shopping mall for several years, but never went in. Some friends asked me to dinner there. I was shocked at this wonderful Mexican restaurant tucked away in Sarasota. The food is authentic! The service is stellar! The atmosphere was amazing. If you have not gone, you do not know what you are missing!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair friendly!

Honestly the best place you can ever go to if you are around it’s incredibly beautiful and organized their staff is outstanding and they are always there on the right times juts incredible sadly I did get An allergic reaction to my food personal but that was totally on me I always try to let them know but I bet they tried their best to do it as well and separated as they could is just so hard having a lot of different allergic reactions in a restaurant but it’s alright I loved it and it’s what it matters the allergie is temporal and the experience is forever I will definitely go back?

I recently dined at Mr. Tequila Mexican Restaurant with a group of 10 friends, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. Despite the large size of our group, our waitress provided excellent service, ensuring that our drinks were continuously replenished and that all of our hot dishes arrived promptly and simultaneously. The drinks were not only delicious but also plentiful, adding to the convivial atmosphere of our gathering. As for the food, it was simply delicious. I opted for the Asada con Queso, a dish featuring Inside skirt steak, grilled onions, cheesy sauce, rice, beans, and tortillas. The meal was flavorful, and I was thoroughly satisfied with my choice. My dining companion also ordered the same dish, and we both found ourselves thoroughly pleased and pleasantly stuffed by the end of the meal. Overall, Mr. Tequila Mexican Restaurant provided a fantastic dining experience, and I would recommend it to anyone in search of good Mexican cuisine in a lively and welcoming atmosphere with great service.

If you want to try mexican food for the first time don't come here because this is not mexican food. Im Mexican 100% and from CD Juarez Chihuahua Mexico and speaking for all mexicans this is not Mexican food.This is not a Mexican restaurant, it has the facade and the name but the food is not good and it is not even close to making authentic Mexican food. Honestly disgusting, I'm Mexican from CD Juarez Chihuahua Mexico and this is not Mexican food.
