Finally! A Japanese place that serves Okonomiyaki. This is a popular dish in Japan that I grew up eating when I lived there. It provided me with a sense of nostalgia as I do not come across this as often as Takoyaki, which I also love. The interior matched the theme of the restaurant, an Izakaya. I will definitely be returning when I visit Sarasota again.

We tried this new spot last night and were so happy we did. The creamy chicken curry ramen was so craveable, almost like a thom kha broth but with more depth. And the Tomyummen (sp?) ramen's broth was a really nice rich broth. The noodles in both seemed handmade in taste and texture; great surprise to the already savory broths. Actually it seemed like everything was scratch made. The decor is nice, new and place is really clean. We thought the place was order at the back counter type from the outside but once in, it's not what we thought in a good way. Service was excellent. Only personal preference is the cabbage/scallion pancake we had for an app was delicious but had a lot of sweet bbq-like sauce. We'll definitely order again, just without that sauce. I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try.

My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant and had a great experience. The food was SO GOOD! We got the spicy ramen and a regular one and they were both delicious! Also loved the corn appetizer ? they had a great drink menu as well. Great good, great service.

Head on over to Namo Izakaya for a date night. They have incredible ramens, appetizers, and kushiyaki. Definitely order a bit of everything because all their food is incredible. Pair it with some sake and that's a perfect meal!

This was a really nice little place to grab lunch, with a cozy atmosphere and delicious food. The Takoyaki and Unagi were excellent. Their ramen is also good, but a little bit too salty for our taste. Overall, this place is definitely worth a visit. :)

Having lived in Japan for over 7 years, I am very impressed! The food was top notch, taking me back to some of my favorite Izakayas in Okinawa! The servers were very friendly and knowledgeable! The restaurant has a real Japanese restaurant feel. We can't wait to come back.

We came for dinner on a Saturday night and were seated without a reservation very quickly. We ordered and requested water. After more than 20 minutes we had to ask again two different servers and finally got our water. We ordered the Kyoto and the Veggie Shoyu ramen. Our order took a long time but once we finally got it we enjoyed it.
