Always a great stop while boating but you're normally hit with a minor wait.Worth the wait for the simple menu and quick service.

My husband & I went there for our 54th Anniversary dinner last night & I were extremely disappointed. They open at 5pm . We had a 5pm reservation & there was only one other couple there at that time - We went in gave our name & said we would like to go to the bar to have a (one) drink & were told we could not because they were fully booked!!! I asked dont you hold a reservation for 15 minutes they said yes but they were busy , also they knew it was our anniversary!!! We were seated and greeted by a very pleasant waitress .. They had a NY strip steak on the menu with a lobster tail for $85.... I asked if I could switch to a Filet Mignon.. she said no everything is counted . I was very surprised to hear that could not be done for an up charge!!!! I asked how big the tail was & she didnt know! I was very surprised since they should know their menu & the details of the dish! ...The flatware was less than clean & had to wipe it off with a napkin . Ordered blue cheese wedge salad that was served with watered down dressing ,. cold bacon that had obviously been cooked days ahead & COLD!!My husband ordered Calamari . It was cooked well but overly salted ! My husband ordered the scallops and grits which were excellentWe decided to order desert and asked how the bread pudding was and if it was fresh made! i was told again everything was good ! The restaurant is "Chef owned", . that too was cold & definitely not fresh! ... my husband said next time we would stick to Flemings ! AND NO we did not send anything back but I would like people to be aware of our experience . PS. the waitress kept saying "Happy Birthday to us after we kept telling her its is our "ANNIVERSARY!!! she even put a Happy Birthday chocolate on the bread pudding!!!! we did enjoy people watching & how the wind created sails out of the tablecloths!!! (BTW I DONT NEED A CALL OR A FREE MEAL THAT IS NOT MYU PURPOSE...HOPE EVERYONE ELSE HAS A BETTER EXPERIENCE . (when we were seated there was a waiter & a waitress talking very loudly to each other in Spanish & laughing just several feet from us. .. we felt this was very inappropriate ..

This is a very nice High end Restaurant on Sarasota Bay and Siesta Key. Atmosphere was phenomenal. Somehow we ended up with a premier table on the edge of the water overlooking the Bay, with the giant fish entertaining us at the Fish lights. The service was very good, we always felt attended to. The Quality of food and drinks was excellent, we were extremely satisfied with our meal.Would highly recommend for a high end restaurant experience.Parking: Parking lot is Valet only.

Not sure what happened tonight. Without question, the worst dining experience my wife and I have ever had eating out. We had friends staying with us so we thought we would treat them to a great dining experience. Things headed south almost immediately when our waitress showed up and stated, “…this is only my second night working here.” I should have immediately asked for a different waitress. We ordered a bottle of wine and it took her about 15 minutes to come back and she didn’t have the bottle of wine. We had to reconfirm the selection. She came back and struggled opening it, stating, “…I’m a former bartender but I am very nervous opening it in front to someone.” She poured the wine and disappeared for at least 30 minutes. She came back and we placed our order, again, she disappeared, never bringing any bread, refilling our wine glasses or water glasses. After more than an 1 1/2 hours of waiting for her, I got up and asked someone if we could get some bread, it was brought right out. After another 30 minutes of not getting any service, I went inside and told the hostess we have been here for 2 hours, with no service or our meals. When talking to the hostess, another customer was vehemently complaining about their service. Once I got back to my table, I could see another table was very unhappy with their service. I made eye contact and told the woman we have been waiting for two hours for our meal. Finally, I complained again, told a male employee this was horrible service and to send the manager out to speak with us. Never happened. Our food was brought out after being seated 2 1/4 hours earlier. My yellowtail was excellent, one of our guests ordered the salmon and it was so rare and over salted she said it was uneatable. A male employee came out and deeply apologized but from the grumblings from other tables, something catastrophic happened because this was a disaster dining experience. I almost left a negative tip.

Great place, great food and atmosphere. The only reason I gave it 4 stars over 5 was due to the fact that I ordered my lamb chops at the temp I wanted. I got a little pushback because the chef recommends medium rare. So when I received my lamb, it was cooked the way the chef wanted, so I sent it back to cook to my liking. I am the one who is eating it, not the chef.I had to wait for my recook while my friends ate their meals. I will return, although it is a pricey restaurant.

Lovely setting on the intracoastal but food was perhaps better than average, service was marginal and prices are way too high for the quality. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Top notch dining experience. Impeccable service. Extremely knowledgeable sommelier offered expert guidance on wine accompaniments. Each dish nicely presented with freshest high quality components. Oysters Rockefeller and crab apps not to be missed. Snapper and scallop entrees each a home run. We could not stop smiling during the entire three hour celebration of my wife's birthday.

Gorgeous waterfont dining on Turtle Beach, Siesta Key! A locals gem for beautiful views and delicious food. Fantastic daily seafood menu with plentiful selections and great service. A gem of Siesta!
