Waited about 45 minutes for a table (first open). Trendy atmosphere and we stood outside with our drinks. Outstanding calamari, decent pizza, but my pappardelle with mushrooms was gluey. If we go back, I'll definitely order something else.

I went for lunch with 4 of my friends today at 12:45 PM and was seated at 1:00 after we suggested to the hostess that there were two tables in the bar area that we could push together, so we were seated. Frank, our waiter, came over to us after a few minutes to take our order and get us drinks. Since we were friends getting together for lunch, we spent our time waiting for our food just casually talking. After a good half hour, we inquired where our food was and were told that they were a little short-handed, but it should be out shortly. Checking my watch, another 30 minutes went by without our orders. By now all of us were getting a bit annoyed, so we tried to get the owners' attention, and he pretended to be on his cell phone, so we asked the hostess where our food was. This time the owner and his wife came over to us and instead of treating us like valued customers, they gave us multiple excuses as to why our order was taking so long. At this point when we got a few conflicting excuses when we complained about the service. One of my friends ordered a white pizza, and it showed up at the table. The pizza was more like a 10-inch cracker, as it was devoid of toppings. We asked where the rest of the order was and no surprise we got more excuses. With that, all of us got up and walked out. Not once did we get an "I'm sorry" or any apologies. So, if you're looking for a place that abuses their customer, this is the place for you. My recommendation is ton pick another restaurant. Prediction, Osteria 500 will not be in business much longer if they don't get their act together and start treating their customer with respect and improve on service.

Best Italian food I've ever had. Polpette Di Nonna and Guazzetto Napoletano were such good appetizers. I got the Calamarata Con Crema Di Burrata Al Pistacchio & Salsiccia and the sauce is to die for not to mention the pasta, yum!! Great staff, very attentive, and informative. And the decor was great. We sat upstairs, and it was fun to watch the video on the wall!

I had the Pappardelle Mama Mia based on the owner's mother's recipe and it was one of the finest, most delicious pasta dishes I have ever had in my life, rivaling those I've had in Italy. Great, lively ambiance, amazing food, and gracious hospitality. Highest recommendation. Bellissimo!

Had lunch with friends and really enjoyed our experience. No wait to be seated ... table of 4 over looking the water. Our wait staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Cocktails were delicious. Shared a pizza as an appetizer, followed by pasta dishes , we were all pleased with our selections. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Came here for my 23rd birthday and it did not disappoint! Our server Luke was awesome and everything came out perfectly. No complaints. We had the family portion menu and they let still let us put in calamari.

Beautiful addition to Waterside. I've enjoyed both lunch and dinner on several occasions and never been disappointed. The paninis and chicken Milanese are great options for lunch. For dinner the bolognese is my favorite - plenty to bring home. Wait staff are always friendly and attentive even when it's extremely busy.
This place is just the best!!!! Been several times always have an incredible experience. Food is phenomenal and the service is great! Sit out side next to the water for the full 10 out of 10 experience!

Second time coming to this place and always rushed by the waiter,, also bringing the check when we are still eating only because we said we didn't want desert, cannot think about desert while we're still having dinner, , very not polite. Grazie ancora

Met with friends for the first time on a Saturday night. It was very busy, but we had such a great time at the large bar we barely noticed we waited an hour. The place has a great ambiance with high ceilings, greenery and warm wood tones. They project scenes of Italy on the brick wall. We sat inside next to the kitchen with all the high energy which was actually a lot of fun. The six of us enjoyed our meals, espresso, and desert. Scallopini Veal, Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina, Capricciosa pizza. The food was all perfectly cooked and served in a timely manner (hot). The tiramisu was amazing! We felt like we were in Italy. Thank you Julian for your excellent service. We will be back and request your section.

We went for our first time and waited an hour for a table of 6 on a Saturday @7:30. (expected) Upon walking in I was impressed with the ambiance of old school Italy with high ceilings, brick wall, greenery, quaint outdoor bar and a beautiful view of the lake. Restroom was clean and well stocked. We had a couple drinks at the bar with Francesco. He was very attentive and drinks were perfect (old fashions, Hugo Spritz, Sauvignon Blanc). Our server Julian was very attentive (without hovering), friendly and accommodating. We ordered Scallopini Veal w/mashed potatoes, asparagus, side Cesar, and a side of meatballs. Absolutely delicious and tender! We all shared tastings, friends got Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina (delicious) Capricciosa pizza (taste was great, but dough was a bit soggy needed more time). We will definitely go back!! Next review will hopefully have pics.

The food and ambiance were so nice! We just stumbled upon it and thought about going to the restaurant down the block that we've been to before. I am so happy we tried something new instead. Our server was recommending some wonderful dishes and even recommended something for our next visit. Definitely a bit on the pricey side but it's worth it.
