Maybe the worst food in Sarasota. And that's saying alot. Ordered a few weeks ago (and I've ordered many times), wasn't what I ordered and called. Was immediately hung up on with people yelling in the background. Called back, same thing, people screaming to hang up the phone. Crazy. I didn't want a free pizza, was just telling them that the pizza wasn't right. Won't do it again. Get a frozen pizza instead.

We received our order in a timely manner. Our pizza was made wrong (see photo). I called the store and there seemed to be a gliche in the system. It did not enter all of the information we clicked for our pizza choices (white sauce, Philly meat, onion with ½ green pepper and ½ mushroom). They remade the pizza (see photo) and had it delivered even faster than the first time. I'm not sure how they made it happen so fast! It's not a perfect world, but when something wasn't right, they fixed it without question.

Papa johns is just a terrible place to order from. The food always takes too long, and mostly, the orders are never made right. I've waited for my delivery, and no one showed up. Simply the worst.

Great pizza! GENUINELY NICE customer service oriented staff. Very professional as well as great team! Highly recommend this location! Pizza is SUPERB! Worth paying a little more sometimes. Only complaint is it is tiny and there is no tables to sit down nor a bathroom. Just have it delivered or order ahead and go get it. It is really great pizza!

Tonight, I accidently had our dinner delivered to a local park instead of our home (last deliver was for a bday party-15 pizzas were great that time too!). Our delivery person, Lenny called and happily waited a few minutes for me to grab it. He was kind, understanding and honestly a welcomed surprise after the longest day. Customer service matters and I appreciate him going above and beyond. The pizza and cheese sticks were great too!!

We've been coming here for a few years. Lately the quality has been lacking so now we are looking for a different quick pizza place.
My husband ordered a delivery for pizza's and the order never came. He called back talked to a employee advised them that we had still not received our order. According to them it was delivered and we advised them it was not. They probably delivered to the wrong house because it has happened before to us with other delivery services. They said sorry and refunded delivery charge and would get some pizza out to us as soon as possible. Thanked them and left it alone. Then the DELIVERY DRIVER called back and was arguing with husband and telling him that he delivered it and that he delivers to our house all the time and was just being so rude and trying to claim he delivered it. One thing I can count in one hand how many times I we have ordered from papa John's. So called back talked to a manager and just cancelled my order. Manager really did not see like she cared about the issue and claimed she would talk to driver about calling us back and being rude. All in all, I say save your money. You can find good pizza any where else and better service then this location.

I've had varying hits and misses with this place for the past 2 1/2 years. The pizza is usually very good, but delivery can be great or go horribly wrong. I've had times where the delivery driver would drop off my food at the building next to mine. It wasn't too big of a deal; I knew the family that lived there. This last time, my food was left at a door that was three buildings down. Literally, between when the delivery showed as COMPLETED to when I got the food to the table, was about 20 minutes. No, the food wasn't cold but wasn't hot neither; my kids did go to sleep later than desired and my wife stirred up some trouble from being hangry. I probably should dock you guys a star just for that alone but I'm being hopeful that promised corrections will be made with personnel and training.

I am so disappointed I have never had such a disgusting Pizza there is puddles of Greece all over the pizza and the cardboard box is saturated and grease

Ate acouple slices of cheese pizza last night and got the worst food poisoning.. the pizza arrived cold, by a delivery man that always try’s to solicit extra money in the form of a tip for the troops. So unprofessional and annoying people have to go through this type of thing when your just trying to order a pizza on a Friday.. last time ever
