Delicious!!! We ordered a variety of items... ribs, wings, pulled pork and brisket... and I still can't decide what I liked the best. Their seasoning is awesome and the smoked flavor is perfect. The corn bread and coleslaw were awesome too. Highly recommend!

This place is legit. We got the smoked turkey, pulled pork and brisket and all of it was delicious. Who would've thought collard greens could be so awesome too? We got their mac & cheese, fried okra and coleslaw. All of that was good too. The coleslaw wasn't drowned in mayonnaise which is great. The Carolina's bbq sauce was dynamite and I'm not a huge bbq sauce fan. This is our new go to barbecue place and will definitely order take out from here again!

Had this delivered to my house. I love bbq, this was certainly the worst I have ever eaten in any state. The ribs were dry and the sides were tasteless. I obviously would not go back with so many other options here in Sarasota.

I’m from TN so I’ve tried many BBQ places around the pigeon forge Smokey Mountains even Buddy’s bbq and THIS place is the BEST bbq I’ve ever had. They have good sweet tea and I believe sells cold beer, only downfall is fountain drinks are off brand. People are very friendly here

Delicious. Everything we tried was amazing- especially the filled to the brim pulled pork and brisket sandwiches. Mac and cheese is phenomenal along with the roasted corn, just wish it was a larger piece of corn for the price. But even the homemade baked beans were great.

The brisket and pull pork sandwiches were amazing! The options on the sauce was very good to. The Alabama sauce was perfect spice. The mac n cheese was decent. The fries and beans were yummy. Definitely recommend.

We chose Pride of the South BBQ for our son and daughter in laws' 4th of July wedding, because you can't get more American than BBQ!! Mark was incredibly professional and easy to work with as we had to change our order due to Covid 19 and a smaller group than originally anticipated. We live in Texas and know great BBQ. This meat was absolutely amazing and all the sides we ordered were incredibly tasty. (One family that attended, own their own catering company, and were very pleased with the taste of the food). Thanks to Mark and Pride of the South BBQ for adding to the great day we all enjoyed!

I have no idea how anyone could think the food here is good. I got the baby back ribs which is just unflavored meat with a tiny bit of barbecue sauce on them....so bizarre....no flavoring? I have never had meat that had nothing added to it. The beans and mac n cheese were just ok. I threw the whole thing out.
