My husband & I went for his birthday dinner. We vacation in SK for several weeks annually and like this spot. I am a well-done gal (married to a medium rare guy) & i've always liked that RC will cook well done on request. I order a filet & clearly stated well done/no pink, said I'm OK w/butterflying. They serve our dinner (my husband loved his steak...cooked perfectly). Mine was at best, medium, there was red in the center (not just pink)...our waitress couldn't have been nicer & brought it back. It came back 10 min later, butterflied & cooked well. Clearly by then (15 min after my husband's steak) it was too late. I will say they took it off the bill & packaged it up for me to take home. The manager was very understanding as well, but quite frankly a grill chef at such a nice steakhouse shouldn't miss that badly.

I'm willing to pay the high prices for the food. However, wine by the glass is ridiculously expensive, and they have only one choice for each type. I had Sauvignon Blanc, and it was awful. The price for one glass was equivalent to the cost of a whole bottle.

Mistakes happen so getting the wrong order (a well-done steak) is excusable, but they left my dining mate's steak on the table along with the sides which cooled off. Left us alone for ages, even though we apparently had three servers, and took a long time to check back after my steak finally arrived almost 15 minutes later. An apology for the delay, but nothing else. This price point needs better service!

The food the service atmosphere was wonderful. We’ve been patrons for many years and go when we celebrate a special occasion for our family and or friends. On this particular evening we purchased a bottle of champagne, which is not something that we ordinarily do. I enjoyed it and sent a picture of it to my girlfriend telling her how much we enjoyed it , she happened to have been at Publix and sent me a picture of the same champagne. (See photo) we were very disappointed at the extreme price difference. ($60) I did call to see if they would “make it right” and was told that they don’t have any control over their pricing. :/ Be aware

This place was absolutely amazing!!! All the way around!! Great food at reasonable prices, excellent service, and an ambiance that was warm and relaxing. A definite 10/10!!!!

Taste maker dinner. Usually an exceptional value. Attended many of these. This one however, was off. Service was slow. Drinks were impossible to get. Steak temperatures were off. Dessert, a wine, poached pear, was completely undercooked and hard and tough.  Will be attending the next one, fingers crossed for redemption.

I had a very superior dinner. I am just a bit concerning the total cost might have been an error bi would like to double check. This is not a complaint. We had 2 people on Tuesday evening at the restaurant at 6700 S Tamismi trail Sarasota my bill before gratuity was 271.78 ticket number 20217-7322 I just wish to verify the cost please advise

From the time we made the reservation until we walked out at the end of our dessert. It was a five star experience. The servers were excellent. The specials were delicious. The ambience was perfect. My wife and I couldn't have had better evening. Thank you. 
Perfect experience 3/3/24 5pm dinner. Food and service were both perfect. Erin was attentive and a pleasure to have as our server. Steaks were perfectly cooked, sides, drinks everything was just right. Lifetime patrons to various Ruth's Chris, mostly Tampa. Came to Sarasota for a change as things were hit/miss at the Tampa location sometimes. Glad we did. Ruth's has the best ahi, and try the strip with truffle/Parm/breadcrumb topping- not overly seasoned with truffle to obscure the flavor of the steak, it just adds something that brings it to the next level.
Great service, great atmosphere. The vegetables and potatoes were perfect as is usual for this restaurant. We were a bit disappointed in the $52.00 each filets. My wife had the better one. My filet was full of grizzle. I couldn't eat it. This was surprising to us as we go to this restaurant because of their consistency in providing a great product. Perhaps we experienced the exception to the 5 star product that we were served in our many past visits. I'm not saying that we wouldn't go again but we certainly don't “crave” going there any longer. We very much appreciate the warm and friendly hospitality that we receive while visiting RC. The chefs should not serve something that is inconsistent with what we have come to know as so very good. It was obvious to me when the meal was served that steak was far,far away from what could have been served. Thank you to the staff nonetheless.

Calamari was overcooked and chewy. My wife's lamb chops were not medium rare - more like medium well although two of them were just right. We had requested a glass of wine with our dinner, the dinner came but no wine - I did wave at someone and the wine came but well after the food arrived. It seemed like our table was forgotten intermittently. My filet and potato were both perfect.

Both service associates- Erin and her assistant Brighton were exceptional. Attentive, friendly, professional, and courteous. Manager, Brit was exceptional as well. Brit was professional, friendly, attentive- stopped by to check on how our experience was. She also made time to converse with us and created a more personal experience. Brit knows how run her shift. We will definitely return to dine again. Food was excellent. We had the 24 ounce T-Bone steaks. Outside cuts of meats, cooked perfectly and extremely flavorful. One suggestion is to update the location's carpet. It's old, worn and stained. Does not look esthetically pleasing.

Perfect from beginning to end. They even moved us to a booth so we could hear each other better - it wasn't loud at all, but we have old ears. Couldn't have been more pleased with our evening. Food was exceptional.
