Wonderful food !Nice people. Bibimbap Awesomely authentic! #39.The Real deal.Very popular. Beef bulgogi wonderful. Saw a Korean girl eating it and knew I should try it.Pork and vegetable dumplings and dipping sauce very good.Lol, trendy Kojo tries to do this dish. Cannot compare. They shovel the hot rice right out of metal bowl asap into cold bowls. Ruining theCulinary dining experience. Flavors not bad. V Overpriced and precious at Kojo. Here you enjoy eating it , hot, in the metal bowl , real and down to earth at Shilla. The diverse flavors , beef bulgogi and crunchy rice crust are so delicious. Omg, Mom chef brings it out to you steaming.Warm, family restaurant. Han friendly and professional,Very popular Fridays and Saturdays. Call orders ahead for efficient dining or take home. Prices reasonable. Loyal following. I get it.Dietary restrictions: Black pepper, all chili peppers, all citrus and tomato.

AMAZING AUTHENTIC Korean food; the best in Sarasota. A small family business with mom and dad cooking in the back, so be PATIENT! It's worth it. Every dish made with love. Like eating in Seoul. VERY good and fair prices! I will be back again and again.

It has taken me WAY too long to write a review for my favorite restaurant in Sarasota. We have been going here regularly since 2016 and will continue to always come here! Everyone we bring with us absolutely LOVE the food and are always raving about what a great place this is. We have friends that will drive over a hour despite having closer Korean restaurants just because your food is just THAT much better. The other restaurants just don’t compare. Dolsot Bibimbap is our go to (the more crunchy rice the better) and the cucumber kimchi is delicious!!! Highly recommend calling ahead to make sure you’re guaranteed a seat here! We absolutely LOVE you guys!!! <3Vegetarian options: Accommodating to a vegetarian diet

Our new favorite spot for Korean food! We've gotten takeout several times and it's always excellent, we recently dined in for the first time. The ambiance was very nice-- it was dim, spacious, and perfect for date night. My fiancé and I ordered the Galbi, Tteok Manduguk, and seafood pancake. The Galbi was tender, flavorful, and the BEST Galbi I've ever had. The seafood pancake was crispy, did not skimp on any fillings, and is a must try! The Tteok Manduguk was also very good. The broth was light in flavor, but the fillings really brought it to life. The dumplings inside the soup were delicious as well. Can't wait to try more menu items!

It is good but I had better. This is very much like a middle class homemade Korean food. It's not to say it is not tasty. It is actually very tasty and somewhat original. Service was nice.

Waitress was not very accommodating. We had a party of 10 walked in the restaurant basically empty, she said she couldn't accommodate us because we didn't have reservations. After negotiations eventually she split us into two tables. But even after we finished our dinner and leaving, the restaurant was still half empty, she was just too lazy to move the tables for a party of 10. Unbelievable!

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile and I'm glad I did!! A nice quaint place, friendly server and the food, FANTASTIC!!! I ordered the stir fried Jjamppong medium spicy and not only do you get a lot but it was SO good!! Really enjoyed the kimchi as well. Can't wait to try some more dishes!!

I called them as soon as they opened and ordered my food. The waitress/hostess was so nice! The food was delicious! I ordered the fire noodles (spicy!), the tteok-bokki (spice level 2), and the Tteok Manduguk. All three were amazing! While I did not stay inside to eat, the atmosphere looked very nice. Definitely will try to eat inside next time!

Unbelievably skimpy on the portions. Seafood tofu soup had one clam, one mussel, a small shrimp and a sliver of squid. Basically $20+ for colored water and scraps of seafood. The owner should be ashamed!
