This place is awesome! I by far am no chef/cook and I went in there having no clue what I needed, just a recipe. Their staff was so kind and helpful and took the time to explain to me what to do and what type of wine to go with my meal. The cut of meat they provided was excellent-my meal turned out fantastic thanks to their help! They cut the meat perfectly so I had the best piece for my Beef Wellington. The rest he cut into Filets, which were fantastic!

Been here several times, always liked what we've gotten.Prime filets and two of their homemade twice baked potatoes, both excellent. They had large frozen femur bones that they cut down for the doggos.The selection at the fresh meat counter is impressive. As is the deli that offers a large array of salads meats and cheeses.Super friendly and helpful butchers and staff.The prices aren't the cheapest, however I feel the quality of everything warrants said price.Highly Recommend!See you next time

On saturdays they smoke ribs for take out. Some of the best ribs I have ever eaten. Meaty and lean. Tender with a bit of a chew. Great ribs. Call in advance to reserve a rack. Not inexpensive but well worth it I'm n sarasota on vacation without a grill but their meat looks great and they have a great assortment of wines. A really great assortment of better wines vEnjoy the ribs they are great

So many delicious options here, for both vegetarians and carnivores. I often buy whatever salmon preparation they are offering, always good. They make their salads and sides in house, again always fresh and delicious. They also sell fresh marinara sauce and fresh pasta. They always have a small assortment of fresh vegetables to round out your meal. You can pick up a bottle of wine while you're there. It's one stop shopping for your dinner, but no lines. Highly recommended.

Amazing service. Amazing quality. Huge wine selection and big green egg selection. They sell Amish churned butter AND Amish bacon which is our favourite - iykyk! Delicious house made sausages and land jaegers! We will definitely be back! Very impressed with this locally owned butcher shop!

Great service and selection at this Gooden gem in Central Sarasota off 17th and Lockwood ridge rd. Worth the drive from lakewood ranch area. Wine selection is elite. Pricing and meat selection is really good considering the quality and service
