Attempted to have dinner at this restaurant to celebrate Valentines Day. My husband had made reservations a week ago for two. They gave us the 7 pm slot. We arrived a bit early (15 minutes), and they offered a tiny bistro cocktail table, which could barely hold two dinner plates. We declined and said we'd rather wait for a larger table. We waited outside and came back in at 6:55 pm. when we saw a couple leave and there was an open table. The young lady said we couldn't have that table because it was reserved for four people. I mentioned that we had a reservation for 7 pm. Then the owner walked by and scolded me and waved her hands, stating we were too early. I said we were five minutes early for our 7 pm. reservation. She was very rude, so we decided not to dine at the restaurant. I told the young lady we were not going to stay. We were very disappointed as we were really looking forward to dine at this establishment. We will never return.

I've been here a couple of times and the food is delicious and authentic. You really do get an Italian feel from the restaurant. It's small, it's family run, and I felt like I was right back in Italy. It has been hard for us to find genuinely good food in the area, but this place is always delicious and always great. The service is great and the chef and his wife are awesome. Definitely stop by here!! You won't regret it :)
Such a great place! Traditional and family run. Best Italian I've had outside of Italy. Actually better than most I had in Italy. Everything we had was exceptional. Mussel were exceptional. , lasagna bolognese with spinach pasta, veal Parmesan, tortellini bolognese, etc. so good. A shame I tried other places first. This will always be my first meal anywhere near Sarasota.

Place lives up to its ratings. First time there and upon arrival it is small and very quiet. We were coming from Calusa brewery so we were not quiet. Bread was excellent and food was great as was the service. Had the lemon pie dessert and cannoli which were spectacular. Will go back again on next visit.
