This wasn’t our first time here, and definitely not the last. This time we had a birthday lunch , and I can tell, both the food and service were excellent! Of course , the perfectly made Dobos cake was the highlight of the event. :)I highly recommend this restaurant!Parking: Near and behind the building , there are plenty of parking spots .Wheelchair accessibility: From the parking lot ( where I believe they have designated spot for people with disabilities) it’s a flat and straight way up to the lanai.

This was our first time here and I'm sure we'll be coming back regularly.The service and the food are simply fantastic. Real Hungarian food was served. The stuffed cabbage, the chicken with paprika, the pancakes were extremely delicious both in appearance and in taste.Maximum satisfaction and thanks from us.I congratulate all the employees and wish them continued successful work.

Hidden Gem! We just found this place and had breakfast. Very friendly service and great food. There is a nice patio also if you want to bring your pet. We will definitely be back and will bring friends. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent food. We had chicken paprikas, Hungarian meatloaf, Wiener schnitzel and Brassoi. Very generous portions of everything. Cucumber salad reminded us of what our Mom's used to make. Excellent service. My wife asked if they had potato pancakes because they didn't have them on the menu. A couple minutes later the waiter comes out with some very delicious potato pancakes.
An amazing little restaurant we found about 5 minutes from where we live. Everyone working is directly from the country of Hungary. Our waiter had only been here less than a year (attending University). It is a very clean restaurant with an open feel due to the large front windows. They worked around our specific needs including allergies, requests, etc. Our waiter was very patient and answered all our questions. My parents were in town visiting and this was our first time here. My wife had a really good grilled fish sandwich and fries. My father had the stuffed peppers which he ate every bite. His wife had the Wiener schnitzel which she loved because they made it the way she likes - fried in the pan instead of deep fried. So it was not greasy. And I had an amazing chicken plate called Karpati Borzacska. This was the dish my friend told me to get. He recommended the restaurant and he is so right. The prices are really good as well. This is a great addition to Bradenton Florida. You need to give it a try!

Second time having a delicious dinner at Vernona! One person had the Carpathian Chicken (which I'd tried my first time there), one had the Cordon Bleu; the remaining two of us had the Pork Ribeye, one with the crispy onions (me) and one without.Each of us enjoyed our superb meal. We all shared a cucumber salad and loved that as well.Owners very helpful in answering questions.No room for dessert because I didn't learn from first visit to save room!On a Monday eve it was quiet, we could hear each other talking, which is such a treat nowadays in a restaurant as most restaurants play music too loudly.Definite must try if you've never been.For me it's a return destination.

We have been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time! We are Slovak and we love Hungarian cuisine as well. Dishes were nice. Gulyas soup was very good. Dumplings were perfect. The stuffed cabbage rolls were ok, a little dry but good flavor. Chicken Paprikas, very tender and delicious. We came for Dobos cake, but they didn't have any. If you go, make sure to try this famous Hungarian cake. We've had theirs before at some festivals and it's AMAZING. Wish they had more Hungarian decor. They have a little store as well to purchase Hungarian spices and spreads and other goodies.
