There were 8 of us to celebrate his big day. My wife and I had been here before with good results but wondered how you would handle a larger group. Well, the waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Service was quick and all meals came out together. Everyone was very satisfied. It was a nice touch giving Bob a slice of cheese cake with an appropriate candle. He was touched by the whole experience and said it was one of the best birthdays ever. Went here again last night since our last experience was so great. This time, we arrived early enough that we were able to enjoy the Sunset Specials menu which includes a salad , and choice of side (vegetable, potato, or rice) . I ordered the Shish-kabobs and my boyfriend ordered the Prime Rib. Both were cooked to perfection and exactly how we ordered it. Such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be back. And if you like a good “wine pour,” you won’t be disappointed ?.

Having vacationed in the area for 30 years it’s hard to find a quality restaurant that has weathered the time. With so many options around the only way to stay in business is to have the right recipe, great food and great service. The service is always on point. Some of the staff have been working there for 20years! Dont miss out on this jem

All I have to say is before you decide to go have a meal there please look at reviews that the manger does not approve of. I'm shocked an adult business man (erik) talks to customers that way just because they left an honest opinion. I will never go back and hope u don't either....sooo many restaurants w great food/ customer service and that will appreciate your business. They dont!!! OPA!!

Went in about a week ago and sat at a table in the bar area. The bar and tables were both full with a very welcoming atmosphere. The owner Eric came over to greet us with a friendly smile, and I asked him about the Ahi Tuna on his menu. He suggested to get it blackened instead of how it's usually prepared with Sesame Seeds. I am pretty picky with Ahi Tuna and this is the best I've had in quite some time!!! I will definitely be back!!! OPA!!!!!!!

Our food took longer than 25 minutes after our salads were gone for a Medium Rare steak that came out more medium brown than anything. Since it took so long to even get the food Brianna waited to see if it was cooked correctly. She agreed that it wasn't and quickly took it back to be fixed. ERIC then came to the table to argue with me that cooking it any less would make it more on the rare side. I said well, medium rare shouldn't come out medium brown. As he stood there arguing and trying to leave me an overcooked piece of meat, I finally said forget it. Total time in the restaurant was 75 minutes! Completely ridiculous. I spent more than 20 years in the restaurant industry, I know what a properly cooked steak looks like & this was not it. Not to mention a supervisor arguing with a customer. Unfortunately, I didn't get dinner & we will not return. Disappointing bc we're so close we really wanted this to be a great place. Clam chowder & crab rangoon was ok but Don't look up, the ceiling fans are covered in dust!

Outstanding food, service and ambiance. We had a 70 person party and they handled it like the pro's they are. We got to choose from 3 entree choices - Prime Rib, Salmon (the way you liked it) and a veggie pasta and your choice of starch, amazing beer muffins and crisp salads. We finished off with a double portion of cheesecake. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Venice/Sarasota area. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a lovely dining experience.

We had a delicious dinner again at Waterfront too. This restaurant is family owned by people who care about good food and service. The service is excellent. The food is delicious. We had the petite Filet and shrimp, the mixed grill and Micky' s meatloaf. Everything was delicious, flavorful and prepared to order. The sides of green beans, salads, choice of potatoes were very good. Our drinks were on point. The owners abd their staff are pleasant and welcoming. We have enjoyed Waterfront for many years and are so happy to have this wonderful restaurant to enjoy a great dinner and good people.
