I stopped in here for the first time looking for good homecooking. It definitely was a good choice. Service was great, food was fresh & delicious. The prices were good. I will definitely stop back in during me travels.

The service is good and everyone is friendly. My wife and I both got burgers. We were asked how we wanted them cooked, but it didn't matter because they both came out well done, very dry, and almost no flavor. Mine was supposed to come with 1000 Island dressing but none on it, here was also bare of any sauce. I'm nearly certain these are premade frozen burger patties, that's a real shame. My fries were pretty good, her sweet potato fries were dry and seemed to have been reheated in the fryer. The burgers are on the low end price wise in town and I guess this is why. We might go back and try an entree next time. I'll update this review for better or worse if we do.Parking: The parking lot is very small and not straightforward to find.

The Captains Platter comes with 4 "JUMBO" oysters, thats the small dark clumps. Serving size of this platter was a joke.I ordered liver with bacon & onions. It was literally raw. Sent it back to the kitchen for more cooking and it came back exactly how it left... raw!Sweet potato was at room temperature. We had been wanting to try this restaurant unfortunately its a one and done.

First time here! Food and service great! We will be back to try the German menu. French onion soup was delicious and my hamburger was to,except, I could not eat it all. It was a 1/2 pound! My husband had the French dip and said that was the best he had in a while. Prices were reasonable.

A bunch of us had the cod fish. It was very good with an excellent tarter sauce. The portion size was generous. Reasonable prices.

Great food and a nice little roadside restaurant. The service was great too! We have gone by this little place so many times and I am glad we finally stopped.

Loved this place in 2018, and we finally made it back there today! Still fantastic! Great, friendly, quick service, great prices and food is wonderful! Had the open face turkey sandwich and my hubby had the liver & onions. I got the triple layer double chocolate to go. It was the best! If I lived down here I'd be there every day. Thank you for a wonderful meal!

Had Nancy M as a server tonight. Awful. Food was good, under seasoned, but good. Atmosphere was wonderful. Lots of space and not too loud.

We came for Monday's German Night. Everything was tasty and pretty authentic. My husband had the pork shank, which was delicious and fall-off-the-bone tender. We've also had the seafood on past visits. The shrimp are outstanding. The decor is fun, featuring an old movie and antique theme. Wait staff are efficient and have a good sense of humor. We're glad we discovered this place.Kid-friendliness: Lots of families.

Friendly and reasonably priced. German night was busy and worth the wait. Bratwurst with the sauerkraut was tasty. Jagerschnitzel was on point. Burgers were large, perfectly cooked, and the fresh chahalla bun.
