Eating at Sandy's is always a pleasure, it's a local eatery catering to local people but welcoming of new comers as well. Always expect to be greated by pleasant staff and enjoy great home cooking, there may on occasion be a wait, but that in itself shows how popular this little diner is, don't get ruffled, be patient and you won't regret the wait. Keep up the awesome job to all the staff at Sandy's!!

Came in for breakfast. The first week we came here and now we are regulars! Love the place. It’s an old building but everything is clean and sanitary. The waitresses are so friendly. I love the breakfast omelets they’re the best I’ve had anywhere. Coffee is great and my cup is always filed quickly. Lunches are amazing too, not may places bother to make their own fries, and they are amazing. Parking can be tight but we never have to wait more than a few minutes to get in. Since this is a locals favorite, it can get busy for breakfast on the weekend, but what ever the wait it’s well worth it for the food and friendly service.

Best food in Highlands County. I can’t wait to have breakfast there every weekend. Home cooked meals made to order. Staff are very friendly and get to know everyone by name. My coffee cup stays full of fresh coffee the entire time I’m there!

Came in for breakfast. Menu had all of the classics associated with an old school diner. Food was great and came out quickly. While the food was excellent, the standout for us was the service. The two ladies working the floor were constantly roaming the tables making sure customers were taken care of and they did it with some friendly banter along the way. Our waitress even made us a couple of malts at 8AM.Places like this don't seem as common these days. Great food and service that makes you feel like you are part of the family. Can't wait until the next opportunity to have a meal with them.Parking: Parking can be a little tight.
So the pricing was fantastic. The food was great. I loved the sausage and the biscuits were probably the best I have had in my life. Their politics are clearly placed all over and even though I didn't agree it was still a nice place and I'd likely quietly go back.
