Wonderful meal and fun atmosphere in the village part of Siesta Key. Friendly and attentive service. The mussels, short rib appetizer, garlic bread and salad were all great. The calamari were a bit overcooked and we weren't wild about the dipping sauces. But otherwise it was great.

This is not-I repeat NOT-an exaggeration when I say The Billionaire Burger here is the best cheeseburger I've ever shoved into my face. The place is only a third of a mile from the beach and has plenty of outdoor seating under fans. It's a people watcher's paradise. I've eaten here a handful of times and can't speak for the entire menu because I never stray from that burger. It's absolute heaven on a bun. Read about it. Try it. Love it. Can't wait to return!

An adorable restaurant, great vibes, good service... fantastic food. I ordered the Peruvian ceviche and plantain chips and I was wowed for sure! I love ceviche and order it often. I have family that makes ceviche. This was by far the best I have ever had. It was a fish ceviche with the perfect amount of citrusy flavor! My son had the poke bowl- although it was extremely fresh and tasty, he did wish the portion was larger.... It was that good! I definitely recommend this restaurant and can't wait to get back there again one day! Instagram @date_night_craves

Really enjoyed our visit to The Cottage on Friday night. We got there around 6:15- and I'm glad we did as it was already getting very busy. We chose to sit at one of the sidewalk tables which was a risk as it was busy, but it made for excellent people watching. Our server took some time getting to our table, but once she came by she was great. She was friendly and joked about the birds above us and carrying my drink through the line of people waiting for a table. I ordered the Adam and Eve cocktail- delicious! Omg. Fig vodka and Prosecco with a basil leaf. I'm in. For food we went the tapas route in order to try a couple different items. We ended up choosing the Caesar salad, crab cake, tuna tacos, short rib, and truffle fries. Our hands down favorite was the tuna. We loved the crunchy wontons and the fresh avocado with the tuna. So good. We really liked the vibe of the cottage and would visit again next time we are in town. I'd like to sit inside or on the patio next time.

What a charming and inviting place! The outside seating under the tiki roof is quaint and makes for a fun experience. This place is family-friendly and dog-friendly which is a big plus. The service was friendly and welcoming. Above all, the food was delicious and offers many healthy choices which is important to us.

Love this place. Great menu and food. Service is good and the atmosphere is really nice. A great place to take the family for a nice evening out. The billionaire burger and truffle fries are quite good and the Lobster Maki Roll is the best sushi I've ever had. A definite recommend when in Siesta Key!UPDATE: Came back 6 years later and it's still AWESOME! One of my favorite restaurant's, period! Had the Lobster Maki Roll again and truffle fries. We had 6 people in our group and everyone had great things to say. This is a must-go in Siesta Key!

We had an amazing time celebrating our son and his soon to be brides engagement during spring break 2024, a very busy time of the year on the island .The manager, Kyle provided an experience that was amazing .He reserved an area in the patio for us, adorned the table with beautiful settings and a gorgeous flower arrangement . We were treated after dinner with complimentary desserts. Kyle and his staff went above and beyond with their service .Thanks so much Kyle to you and your TEAM!!Toledo, Ohio visitors ?❤️

Incredible ambiance! We got lucky and came a week after the spring break chaos. Walking up to the checkin table, my group was greeted with smiles and an excellent wait staff! Our group ordered the first round of drinks - a crisp glass of rose, one semi-sweet sangria, a poppy noted big hop beer, and a flavorful and fresh watermelon jalapeño margarita! One thing that stuck out was how our waitress Skyla gave out little beer testers for us as a lot of the original beers we wanted were sold out! For food the table shared these bursting-with-flavor short rib bites! While they were labeled bites, they are the size of a crab cake! I personally shared an order of the tuna sushi tacos (8.8/10 - light and fresh! A refreshing bite) and lobster maki roll (7.9/10 - I liked the flavor, but sometimes when you torch sushi it tastes a bit like gas..). Lastly, we shared a side of plantains! While it was a side order, there were over 10 pieces! Those might have been my favorite thing I ordered! Overall an incredible experience and I will come back!

This place is our favorite spot in Siesta Key. Food is fantastic, the service is friendly, and the management is fabulous. The Manager Dante went out of his way, helping us with our Sons 1st bday dinner this evening. It’s no wonder this restaurant is always busy, such great people taking care of their customers.

Dining at The Cottage was a culinary delight from start to finish. The mussels were plump and flavorful, the tuna tacoshimi was a perfect fusion of freshness and crunch, and the short rib bites were tender and succulent. Courtney, our waitress, was incredibly attentive and friendly, enhancing the entire experience. I can't wait to return for another memorable meal.
