“KEN'S BBQ: I have eaten a lot of bar-b-que over the years and I guess I'm lucky because I don't think I've ever had any "bad" bar-b-que! But Ken's is #1 on my list. There are things that make certain BBQ restaurants stand out for me, for instance: Restaurants that have personable and efficient staff; Employees that actually remember you and bother to know your name; Recipes that make for that consistent taste and flavor that keep you coming back for more. But most of all, I love that you see the owner and their family on the floor, with rolled up sleeves serving, busing tables, cashiering and working along side their employees to accomplish the job at hand. It speaks volumes about the values and commitment of the owners. Also, ALL THE FOOD IS ALWAYS DELICIOUS! Dine in or take out! Maybe I'm biased because I have lived in Lake City my whole life and I can't even remember Lake City without Ken's BBQ.....In fact, I don't want a Lake City without Ken's BBQ!! One more thing: SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUSINESSES!!”

“I just wanted to let you in on a little secret. I have lived in Sarasota for 3 years and i have found the best ice cream shoppe in Sarasota. Pinecraft Ice Cream is the best. Located at 3350 Bahia Vista St. They have a delicious variety of ice cream some even dairy free. My favorite is the soft serve twist. While your there order a pizza from Village Pizza By Emma. Reminds me of the great pizza when I lived in New York. Tell them Bob sent you.”

“We went to this restaurant for my daughters birthday. She had been there previously for her husband‘s birthday, so she wanted to go back for hers. All in all the service was excellent, very attentive. I can’t say I wasn’t happy with my food because he asked my daughter if she wanted her steak medium rare that she had and he didn’t ask me if I wanted my steak on my Noodles meet them where are we are done so when it came, it was medium rare I can’t eat me to where I feel like blood in my mouth so I asked him to go back and make it well done so they actually went back and literally bought the meat to every bite that I took take it tasted like burnt grill Choco pie crispy very unhappy with my meal very dissatisfied but other than that my daughter like to hurtful my son-in-law like this food oh my granddaughter, she did not eat her food but all in all it was OK experience just not happy with my food”
