This little gem reminds me of the nice little cafes we visited in Cuba and in Mexico. The atmosphere is lovely with some nice music and bright colourful walls. It gets a little busy around lunch time which tells you how popular this place is.The owners are super nice and helped us pick some good breakfast items for a quick bite. Definitely will be coming back to try their lunch and dinner. Don’t forget to order a cafe con leche.

If you are looking for delicious authentic Mexican/Latin food this is your place. The food here is delicious and well priced - my favorite items are the Mexican steak tacos because the tortillas are delicious and the ingredients are fresh. My second favorite is the garlic shrimp meal. The staff is always super friendly and attentive. As far as ambience this is going to be your no frills kind of restaurant you can dine inside or out and you will order at the counter. No alcohol is served her but they have delicious homemade juices, coffee and fountain beverages. Don't let another day go by without trying this hidden gem!

Delicious authentic and fresh! Fast counter service inside and outside seating. Casual but clean. Steak sandwich with fries and Picodilla were outstanding. Loved sweet plantains as well.

Amazing Latin/Cuban food. I ordered the pork chunks and it was cooked to fried perfection. I ordered it with yellow rice and black beans. It also came with plantains. It was plenty of food and fast service. Next time I'm going order the mofungo!
Absolute perfection. Breakfast or lunch, Cafe con Leche hits the target spot on with consistent, top notch yummy food. Favorites are the taco specials and Ropa Vieja. You can never go wrong with those. A nice treat is the whole fried Snapper plate. Beans & rice, mofongo, plaintalns...all to perfection. And the coffee is great too...which leads to a whole bank of great options for breakfast. Eat in, dine outside or take out...you'll be pleased stopping in here for a bite and find yourself coming back for more.

Amazing portions, amazing food quality, amazing service, and location is great. This is a legitimate five stars from someone that regularly goes into NYC for food and cooks/brews their own liquor. The chicken empanadas are the best I've had. The ropa vieja and tres leches are great. The Cuban portions are insane, my only feedback on that is it can be a bit dry due to not enough mustard and slightly overcooked meat but the insane portion and great bread makes up for it. If I was down their year round this would be a spot I would go to on a regular basis, and I know for sure when I visit them in florida that I can get great food here.
