“I enjoy their dishes a lot for various reasons 1) not too salty 2) clean eating: the owner seek to eliminate preservatives & processed ingredients much as possible3) handmade “ man- do “ (appetizer)4) servers are all polite & quick to please customersI live a bit out of way from this restaurant and this is my “ go-to -place “ for Korean food. I highly recommend this place ( I’m South Korean so I know what I’m talking about … ??? Many of their dishes are authentic so if they are a bit odd.. simply ask them. ie. Original BiBimBop has crusty, crispy burnt rice layer ( bottom ) but you might think that it was burnt by mistake … It’s not. That’s the best part. The owner told me that they are no longer serving it like that anymore. But you can always ask for that crusty bottom layer. Also, you can always opt-out for that egg on top of BiBimBop. I like eggs fried not raw and watery. Or you can ask the sever o make sure the egg is cooked. If the dish comes hot enough, you can mix it up and let the heat of “dol-sop” bowl and the other ingredients cook the egg for you. It is yummy all mixed up together. Don’t forget to add sesame oil & ?️ hot pepper paste“
“One of the better diners in the area. Clean with that family feel. Busy but not packed to the point of being a pain. Which is a good thing. Lots of people going must mean good food at good prices. More food choices than most with large portions at a bit better pricing than most other diners. Enough tables and staff to get people seated at a reasonable time during the busier times. Wait staff is attentive and never left us wanting. Large parking lot with easy in and out. Looking for a diner? This place will not disappoint.“
“El Tequila is a little taste of Mexico. I highly recommend stopping in. They have delicious food, great service and an authentic Mexican feel. Fresh warm chips and salsa. The guac is chunky, not baby food mush. Good music, it’s a good time.Vegetarian options: Burritos, tacos, quesadillasParking: Large parking lot around the entire building“
“This is an Irish restaurant and if that’s the food you’re looking for that’s what you’ll get. Outside of that there is few options. The fish tacos were really good but extremely messy. They also had an okay kids burger and Mac and cheese was on par with any other kids meal. The server was extremely nice just slow and might have been over worked. Plenty of parking since it’s in a strip mall. They are not dietary friendly. They tried very hard to accommodate and were very polite about but none of the staff was familiar with the ingredients in the food when no dairy was requested on one meal.“
“We always have a great time at Hidden Treasure, and today was no different! It's one of our favorite places not just for the food, but maybe even more importantly, the fantastic atmosphere, and always stellar customer service! Today we want to give a shout out to Heather who dealt with our happy crew! She was wonderful! And so was Nancy, the manager, who stopped by the table to make sure everything was perfect... It's such a fun place to go if you are looking for that Florida vibe! :)“
“Been Wintering in New Smyrna for years, eating out 2-5 times a week. Finally got around to Blackbeards after driving by many, many times. In a word, delightful. Beautiful setting in a comfortable warm, dining room. Waitress (“Lisa”) was friendly, knew the menu, had an answer to every question we had and checked back to make sure all was in order. It was.I had a delicious bowl of fish chowder, a great filet of Broiled Haddock with mixed rice, a large salad, a huge hush puppy and a basket of warm bread and cinnamon rolls. My companion had the Clam strips platter with a sweet potato that came with a thick sweet sauce that was spectacular, and the same sides. We agreed that overall it was among the very best meals we have had in all the time we have been coming to NSB. Coincidentally we got in under the Early Bird plan and the whole dinner including a Margarita for her was, (drumroll),$41.00!! Good food, good waitress, good deal!“
“Establishment was clean and tidy, we waited a moment to order, the delicious and tantalizing aromas of seared meat made the wait to order worse. The hotdogs are ginormous, on toasty buns. Most excellent little place, prices reasonable.Kid-friendliness: Kids love hotdogs.“
“My girlfriend and I have been going to this place for quite sometime now and are constantly met with an incredible experience. The food is extremely high quality and delicious! The ambiance is a 20 out of 10. The service is always great, the staff is awesome and on their A game. Caio is HANDS DOWN our favorite server. His enthusiasm, attentiveness and hospitality are unrivaled!“
“We went for the first time 4-18-24. It is an interesting restaurant, I won’t give away the secret but they make homemade cinnamon rolls fresh all you can eat. Food was delicious and staff was very kind. Highly recommend if you are in the area or close by.“
“We love this place! Great food, reasonable prices and accommodating staff make for a generally good time. Our favorite appetizer is the goat cheese and figs. My favorite entree is the Osso Bucco. Ask ahead of time, sometimes they run out. Great selection of beers and drinks, as well. My only complaint is the place echos inside when busy. Easily solved with their outdoor seating. Very easy going atmosphere that is perfect for adult birthday parties.“
“Perfect boating destination from Palm Coast! Takes about an hour on the intracoastal. Super scenic ride. We always see lots of dolphins. Manatee no-wake zones are from May 1 to Sept 7 so depending on when you go may take a little longer. Boat docking right beside the restaurant or at the marina next door. Always something on the menu for everyone and really enjoy dining out on their water-front deck. Makes for a perfect day trip!“
“Boy oh boy let me tell you what, this place is absolutely amazing! My two sons and I decided to have dinner at the Tanger location. We ordered the Philly and order of honey bbq wings and a lazy boy potato. Everything was spot on the food was phenomenal! when we first got there I had a lot of questions being the first time stepping foot into the establishment and Dominique was very willing to answer any question I had and was absolutely the sweetest lady I have met in a long time. Very clean and great music and great atmosphere! Keep up the good work guys we will definitely be back and recommend you to everyone.“
“Ordered for a family of 4...the server was very helpful and made sure to get our large order right. While waiting (didn't take long at all for the amout we ordered) the cooks was laughing and signing while they worked. Loved it! One was even talking about my ruben with pepper jack cheese and how he was gonna have to try it. Great attitudes and the food was amazing. We will return on our next getaway!!!“
“There are few places in this world that check all the boxes. The Spott doesn’t even know what boxes are as they are so far outside the box in every aspect of culinary excellence! From their creative cuisine, out of this world chef, amazing staff, and the dedication, loyalty and over the top service from the owners. The Spott in New Smyrna Beach FL with their constantly amazing food has won every kudos from me and this town!“
“Food was amazing, we were a party of 6 everyone ordered something different and it was delicious. Snow crab legs, mini crab cakes, steak ?. Service was excellent, Katie was great with menu knowledge and bringing refills. Looking forward to going back soon.“
“The best seafood restaurant in the area! It earns this high distinction due to its varied menu, competitive pricing, professional service, and atmosphere. A true ocean to table eatery, it don’t get no more fresh than Hull’s! A staple of the Ormond Beach community and the “go to” restaurant if ya want fresh seafood! The staff is always friendly and professional and there’s so many delicious options on the menu that ya really can’t go wrong. Normal hours and continently located. Parking out back is a nice option!“
“Such a cute little hideaway beach bar!!! A true gem. Full oceanfront view, great prices for drinks and food as well. All the servers & bartenders are also so so friendly :)Favorite food: Shrimp tacos & steak paniniFavorite drink: PainchillerThere is parking at the beach ramp and across the street at the bank. If you have a beach pass it’s easy to park on the beach and walk up.10/10 recommended!!“
“??? EPIC MIND BLOWING FOOD!!!! Thanks to Robert and his trusty sidekick son Evan, this duo made my best Friday and start to the weekend since I moved here. I'm a crab connoisseur, but their crabs were unlike any previous experiences. They're my new addiction!!! And this lobster bites . They whiting and sauces . I was trying to eat this for two days, it lasted 2 hours. The lobster bites never even made it to my house . Reasonably priced for EXCEPTIONAL FOOD. Tasted the smoke salmon ?? “
“This is my favorite place for lunch or dinner. I love the view, especially at sunset when the vehicles are cleared from the beach. The sky changes colors and the beach sand looks pink. I cried my eyes out one evening mourning the recent loss of my husband. The Playlist on the jukebox surely was being DJ'ed by my husband's spirit as it was a profound moment in my life. I watched the sky over the water through tear filled eyes grateful to be lookong at something so beautiful while experiencing so much pain in my heart. The wait staff allowed me to be in my moment and I apologized for making them feel awkward but thanked them for allowing me to grieve. Every other experience there has been a pleasant one! The view is always beautiful. The food is always delicious. Drinks are poured properly and the staff is a group of beautiful humans, friendly and attentive. I will go there every chance I get. Wish I could be a local here. Burgers, skewers, margaritas, chili, salads... all delicious! Key like skewers are my favorite. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!“
“A family run steamed seafood stand. You make your order and leave - “come back in 15 minutes”. Thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp with corn potatoes and two boiled eggs. Seasoned nicely. For a boy from Louisiana who travels with his seasoning I did add some spice. But food was hot, seasoned well and tasty. I will go again, next time I’m in Daytona. More than I could eat. All for $19.00. A great value too! Minus you have to take out. No eating on premises. So I went to the park and had a beer.“
“It does not look like much, but this is one of the best places to eat in the county. We try to go a few times a month because everything on the menu is awesome. The alligator ribs are awesome. Small ribs in one of the best sauces I have ever had. The Francaise fish is the best. I eat Keto so they gladly take out the pasta and sub in fresh spinach. When picking fish I have found it all good but especially the flounder, pompano and the trigger fish. The wife loves the farm chicken dish. Full of flavor and very moist. Be sure to try the steak and mushroom soup, it is divine. All the desserts are great especially the worms in dirt (think of it as chocolate mousse over oreo crumbs), but I love the pineapple cake or if you are lucky they have a special macadamia and passion fruit cake once a month. Be sure and ask for it so we pressure them to add it to the full time menu. Brunch is awesome. The banana french toast is a sin it is sooooo good. We cannot say enough good things about this place. "Looks are deceiving" is the mantra. The service folks are great. One down side is that it is always busy at night. Reservations in advance are a must. We ate at the bar on a Friday and Saturday a few times and they turned down over 20 tables every night while we were there. Check out all of our reviews. If we do not like it we do no review it so all of the ones you see are places that are fantastic. Follow us if you like. We had over 42 million reviews this year so far and we thank you for that. We don't get paid, we just love to eat. Be sure to click on "RobH" at the top of this review to see all of them and to follow us if you like good food and FUN.“
“This was our first visit to 31 Supper Club and hopefully we will be back. An interesting themed restaurant, supposedly from the end of the Prohibition era but felt more like late 40’s-50’s with Frank Sinatra playing in the background.Nonetheless a great atmosphere and appealing decor. We were celebrating our 30th anniversary and our server,Jack, was exceptionally accommodating. The drinks my wife ordered were on point and all of the food was terrific. They also have live entertainment on specific nights something we will go back to enjoy. Great place for cocktails and food. A special thanks to the chef! Steve“
“Had ‘the manatee’ sandwich today for lunch and it was delicious! Everything tasted so fresh and the bread was so good. Would definitely recommend this place. Sandwich was made to order and the staff were all very friendly. Cute little spot.“
“Macker was the last place we ate at on our vacation to Daytona Beach. The blue crab was amazing and the staff went above and beyond! Everything was amazing. I will definitely be back and plan to go more than once during our vacation! Skip the chains like Bubba and Joe's....this place delivers. 5 stars!!!“
“First time at restaurant. The food was good. Don’t care for how the menu is where you have to use your phone to scan the menu. Everyone may not have that luxury. Otherwise the service was great. Our server J the young lady was awesome. I will be going back“
“It is the only restaurant/bar that is opened after 11 pm around Daytona Center. It has its own parking lot and when we mention that we go to Dec, the person in charge took just $5.00 for the parking. At the restaurant, we were stamped on a hand (something that made us remember dancing places long time ago) and we paid $2.00 each. Finally inside Dec, we enjoy life music, we dance, eat ( the lady was pretty nice) and drink until 2.00 pm. That's was what we were looking for. Here there is our 5 stars.“
“Wow, I am pleasantly surprised! First I ordered Calamari, it's rare to get it cooked perfectly. Well, it was perfect, and they included pieces of breaded jalapeños. What a great combination. Then I ordered Fresh caught grouper again it was definitely fresh and the best I have had at an ocean side restraunt. Britney was an awesome waitress, it was busy but she hustled and was always uplifting and happy.“
“I've been going to Rice Bistro since they first opened. The food is very good and priced reasonably but the service that Alice provides is top-notch. I highly recommend you try Rice Bistro and I'm sure you will agree with my review.“
“Best place to eat on the east side!Excellent service, incredibly delicious food~ Hush puppies are the best I've ever had & I'm not really keen on hush puppies~ The fresh caught fish was yummy, the vibe was welcoming & enjoyed by my whole family.Make some time to visit! If you don't love it, you probably don't enjoy anything delightful.Kid-friendliness: Our kiddos felt very welcomed here!“
“Party of 2. We visited on a wednesday night at 8. Sat at the bar. Drink service was quick, placing our food order was 15 minutes later. 15 more minutes and the bartender asked again what we ordered as she stated she "forgot to enter it".15 more minutes and I asked where our salads were. The salads came out quickly after that but so did the food arrived. My bf ordered the fish, shrimp and scallop entre, grilled. I ordered the Cajun Mahi street tacos. The grilled entre came out hot and was tasty. 4/5. The fries were lukewarm as was the mahi tacos which was disappointing because of the length of time it took to get the food. I did ask the bartender for hot french fries and they sent an order out quickly. The Tacos would have been perfect if they were hot and served with a slice of avocado.Parking: Large private parking lot“
“Crabby's is my "breakfast at the beach" spot when I come over to New Smyrna. Perfectly situated across from the beach and parking. Menu selections are great and the food is delicious. Staff is courteous and wonderful.??? for Crabby's!“
“Malibu Beach Grill has a pleasant environment outdoor seating, available next to the lake and playground. Their food and service are both reliably good, above average for this area. Prices are a bit steeper than some other options, but the food is just so worth it! The plates usually come with a side of vegetables, and some sort of a starch, or perhaps a second vegetable, which is nice to have,if you're trying to eat healthily. I usually get the citrus scallops, but I've never been let down no matter what I choose. Their desserts are usually equally good and worth the extra spend.“
“I have to say something negative about the chairs and tables. They are all made out of metal and the staff do not know how to lift them off of the ground. So several times, we could not even think straight because of the nose that they made rearranging tables and chairs... Deafening. You definitely cannot have a conversation if they are rearranging anything.Food great, drinks great, atmosphere and location great. Ethan was our server and he was always available and had all the answers and suggestions we needed. This is definitely one of the better waterfront eateries in the area.“
“Unfortunately I did not have the pleasure of sitting outside...we were starving so we sat indoors and the food was great. We drove an hour to eat there, alligator bites were delish, hamburgers were great fish sandwich and Caesar salad were all given thumbs up by everyone in my party.“
“Bonefish Grill is my favorite place to eat. Whenever time I decided that I want to have some great food and drink, with an amazing and relaxing atmosphere. Bonefish is my only option. From the first time I’ve eaten there until now, I have never been disappointed whatsoever. Everyone there is so friendly and kind, but I have to give special shoutout to Casey and Bree, they’re extraordinary workers ( Topnotch ) always make me feel welcome. I love that place…….. ?“
“Great early bird menu and cool drink specials. Food is all high quality and very fresh. The value is great vs. most of the usual suspects in NSB. You just have to be willing to trade the view for lower prices and better service. We did a weeknight at 5 and got right in (or I should say out as we ate on the patio). The Thai Thai shrimp is awesome and is large enough to be a group appetizer. Coconut shrimp was very good and you get a huge portion. Drinks are good and well priced and the beer list is solid.Lots of parking and close enough to the beach to still get the NSB feel. Highly recommended.“
“Absolutely love this restaurant! I highly recommend the Hushpuppies, Bacon Wrapped Plantains, and chicken wing appetizers. For entrees, the Tuna tacos, Guava Glazed Ribs and Shrimp are delicious. The cocktails are nice and they have a great beer selection. Perfect spot for before and after the beach!!“
“I would have taken a picture of the amazing plate I got, but I won’t lie the moment the wrapper came off. It went straight to my belly. This place has consistently had the best market price for crab, and the quality of the food is better than any crab place in Daytona, this place is not fancy by any means but the food and service speaks for itself. so if you want crab legs, this is THE spot!“
“Went here for my aunt's birthday and they brought out a delicious dessert for her great service the waiters were so nice and 1 order came out wrong and with no hesitation they fixed it love this place definitely will be coming back again soon“
“We wanted to try this place especially because it has a lot of vegan choices and both my daughters are vegan. I have to say out of all the places I’ve been. This is one of my favorites and I’ll definitely be going back. It’s a nice little small, quaint place on Beach Street in Daytona Beach. The atmosphere was good and the service is excellent. Not to mention how the food was precisely made to order and to please the pallet.Vegetarian options: There are a lot of VG options, and they were more than happy to customize what you like.“
“Absolutely love this place! It’s a must try for those you haven’t yet! The customer service is fast & great, the food is amazing and it’s such a peaceful setting. I cannot wait for their grand opening and hopefully their lobster bisque is still on the menu!“
“The appearance on the outside leaves you to believe it's not a great restaurant but don't let that fool you at Al!!! The food was top notch and so was the service!!!!! The salad was a huge salad with everything you wanted and maybe not. The beer was freezing cold and then the meal we had the filet mignon with baked potato ( huge, soft, delicious), grilled mushrooms and onions fabulous, and veggies for our side. Now the tea is not pre sweetened so don't expect good ole Southern tea but the dessert in the end help fill in the spots that all the food didn't fill!!! Highly recommend just don't judge the quality by the outside of the place!! They also have Greek food and a huge seafood platter!!!! Linen table clothes, great music playing from the old times but so soothing and the bar is fully stocked with tons of amazing drinks to enjoy!!!“
“Where to begin? It's a small establishment to be sure, but that only adds to the atmosphere. A bigger venue would only feel less inviting. As it is, the restaurant is clean and well maintained. The bathroom was spotless. The wait staff is attentive and friendly without feeling cloying or pushy. They never made us feel like they were trying to clear a table for the next guests. If that weren't enough, the food is incredible. The crepe lasagna is now one of the top three meals I've ever had at a restaurant in my life. It was tender and flavorful without being soupy or turning into mush, as so many lasagnas do. I will point out that our food took a while, however in this case that's not a downside. This restaurant is the kind of place you go for a proper multi course dinner, not an eatery that tries to serve as many people as possible, as quickly as possible. It never felt as though we were waiting our food, it felt as if they were waiting for us to be ready for the next course. It is overall, friendly, welcoming, and serves absolutely outstanding food.On the five-star Google scale, this place is a 10 out of 10. Absolutely outstanding job and I thank you for the experience.“
“I made reservations for my 2 adult men to celebrate their birthdays together and this is what my oldest has to say:The food was absolutely outstanding; we got the bone-in filet with a cabernet-shallot sauce and a side of millionaire potatoes. The steak was perfectly cooked, and everything was presented with care. The smoked old-fashioned literally came in its own smoke-filled glass case! Looking at the ocean and the slowly dimming sky while having our meal was an amazing atmosphere for a nice dinner. My only complaint was with the timeliness of service. There were multiple occasions during our meal where we would be waiting on service for upwards of 10 minutes, which was especially awkward when we had finished our meals and sat with empty plates. You would think that having a team of two service your table would prevent this. Despite this minor complaint, both of our servers were incredibly friendly and accommodating to our meal alterations and requests.“
“Last night in Ormond Beavh and we saw this place always busy. We got there and had our names in for 45 min to get a table. Cesar salad, filet, orange cake all very good, service great, highly recommend. We're from Nebraska so we know good steak. We were happy and had full stomach's“
“Apr 2024: Came in for lunch on a Friday. Got the shrimp appetizer, shrimp tacos and steak salad. Tacos were stuffed and great. Got a tequila soda too that the waiter forgot. Small drink, so I'd stick to beer here. Almost no parking. You have to park in the park to the left.“
“This was our first time there and I have to say we were beyond impressed! The food was amazing, the view was amazing, but the best part of our experience was our server Debbie! She was so fun, professional, attentive, witty and this girl knows every inch of the menu! The level of pride she takes serving others is exceptionally rare but refreshingly amazing! She had great suggestions and recommendations on the menu as well as the drinks! Servers like her are so hard to find and rare these days and we will definitely be back!“
“Everything we ordered was absolutely perfect. HUGE portions, and everything was hot and fresh! The staff are nothing short of delightful.I had a pick 2 with fried fish and fried clams, and onion rings. Hubs had blackened mahi with fries and a crab cake side. There was so much food I took more than half home!“
“I honestly can’t say enough about how awesome this place is. The atmosphere is incredible, the food was fantastic and the staff were extremely friendly and had a great vibe to them. Especially Joey. What a guy. I can’t wait to come back to this place. If you can, plan to be there for low tide! We were there during high tide and after talking to one of the servers it sounds like it can be quite the thing to see. 10/10 would recommend over and over again!“
“Food was delicious and beautifully prepared! Service was excellent. Best watermelon martini!Vegetarian options: Only one of us was vegetarian but she found many options and thoroughly enjoyed them.Dietary restrictions: Husband is gluten free and had many options without the dish being stripped of all taste!“
