been here a couple of times when I come visit from another state and today was bad, We ordered 5 bowls and waited 40 minutes for it. people that were after us were getting them before us. after like 25 min when we approached the girls about it, they asked for our name and then said” oh yeah, here is the order, we will make them now” but we still had to wait, then they forgot one so had to wait AGAIN, and they were soo poorly made. definitely not driving half an hour to come here again.

I got the electric mermaid and it was by far the best smoothie bowl I’ve had. My friends got açaí bowls that were equally as delicious. And they came with these adorable takeout bags! The line was long(because they are so popular) but it moved so fast. And I got my bowl in less than 10 minutes of ordering it. The fruit was fresh and the smoothie base was thick, smooth and flavorful. It was not watered down or melted at all. Compared to other smoothie bowl restaurants I’ve been to, the portions were huge and the price wasn’t bad at all. My friends had some modifications for their bowls and there were no mistakes. The inside was adorable, the atmosphere was great, and the workers were very inviting and looked happy to be there. I cannot wait to go back and try more items on the menu!
They don't accept cash over 20. As well as the longest wait of my life I swear I aged 50 years waiting. They also forgot my order so I had to kindly remind them of my order.

I’ve come to this Playa Bowl many times, and I’ve never waited so long to get my order. I ordered at 4:06 PM and finally got my bowl at 4:30 PM. The açai bowl base was frozen and not as smooth as other times. One of the girls in the back cutting pineapple answered a phone call on her cell phone, which is fine, but did not change her gloves and that’s gross
