We been there at Easter holiday evening. Myself, my wife and my 3 years old daughter. We seat inside and enjoy the fish and chips, grilled fish and chicken strips. Food was good. Just only one draw back, for inside dinner you should have proper cutlery not plastic one. For takeaway plastic is ok. Thanks

I was finally able to stop in. It’s been years since I’ve are at Captain D’s and I was pleasantly surprised! We stopped in for lunch and the food was excellent! Service was very good too! Keep up the great work!
Excellent service to start! Order was perfect, and staff was very attentive, even after receiving our food.Ordered the 20 piece shrimp, some catfish, and hushpuppies. I was not disappointed with anything I ordered. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the right temperature when coming to the table.Meal was received in a reasonable time, not too quick, but not long at all.Came back a few days later, ordered a little different, and some of the same, and everything was as good as it was the first time!I would highly recommend this place if you have not tried it yet! New to the area, and a place that has seafood so fresh, you can taste in every bite!I was truly blown away by this place. Their service and food is freshly addicting!Keep up the great work!!!

2-23-2024 Place my to-go order with counter person at 14:19 receipt No.#0099. Ordered a GR WF N SH SK. $12.29. Get home here in Hudson. And the grillled Shrimp skewer is there sitting on a bed of rice, along with a side of broccoli, and green beans. But no grilled white fish???? I understand that if you were busy at this particular time, it could of been overlooked. But you weren't even busy? Ànd i was so looking forward to my white fish and shrimp dinner this afternoon. Not sure if anyone working there will even see this review? Or even care? I do choose this establishment, over your competitor down the road on US #19. I hope in the future, that you will be more conscious of the customers order. Especially takeout. Thank you for your time...

Hushpùppies are amazing. The shrimp are cooked perfectly, the fish was moist, tasty and well cooked. My only complaint was the fries -- they were cold and poorly seasoned.

I have been to this location before and had the catfish and chicken tenders and was really impressed. Enough to try again. Last night I bought the catfish combo and chicken tender combo and both the catfish and chicken tenders had an unpleasant taste to them. I don’t know if it was the grease or what but will not be going back. It may have been a fluke or bad grease but it tasted bad enough to not want to try it again. Spent $48 on two combos, two large drinks and funnel cake fries and neither meats in our combos were edible.

We love Captain D's so it was awful when we got our family platters & add on's. The fish tasted like a cross of chicken & pork. It was really bad & all 12 pieces + the 2 add on pieces tasted the same so it wasn'tjust a bad piece. I called in to see if something was wrong with the oil or the fish & the very nice man explained that they had changed fish for at least the next few weeks. He offered me a 2 piece dinner to make up for it but a 2 piece on a $53 order when we had to get pizza that same night because nobody would eat the fish? Come on! We alternate Captain D's into our weekend meals every other weekend but we can go to Long John's moving foward. Nobody in our house would eat it. Everything else from the butterfly shrimp to the stuffed crabs was good. Offering to replace all of the fish (considering he recalled our order) would have kept us coming back.

We used to order from here a couple times a month but won't be anymore. The service just keeps getting worse and worse, they are SO slow! Even being the only car in the drive thru and ordering ahead online, it still takes them 15+ minutes to make 3 fast food meals. And they changed their chicken tenders, they do not even taste the same. They have a complete different breading and taste exactly like the fish ? They also weren't cooked thoroughly this time. Not sure what happened or why they'd change them but they're awful..
