I'm changing my review based off of the service. Seems like they're only open when they feel like it. They never ever answer the phones. I've called them several times in a row and then went in and there were people at the counter but no one can answer a phone? Google always says open but they never seem like it. Also pretty much most of their menu items come frozen and then just steamed. You can find most of their menu at the hl asian market on 19 and Northcliffe, save your time and money.

Wonderful variety of dim sum which made for a delicious dinner! Enjoy with Chinese beer or tea. Friendly and attentive service. The interior is modern and very clean. The restaurant also serves Japanese noodle dishes which we plan to try at our next visit.

Just had China City a few minutes. I can't recommend the soup dumplings enough.

If you love authentic roman noodle soup you need to go here. Staff is always helpful and there portions are enough that you have for a second meal.

We made a meal out of several dim sum dishes and they all tasted fresh and home made. The broth for the soup was rich and the dumplings were tasty and delicate. I love that they serve hot tea in a pot made with loose leaf tea instead of generic tea bags.

Great dim sum! We had 7 varieties between two of us including shrimp dumplings, pan fried dumplings and Shanghai soup dumplings. Exceptionally clean restaurant and bathrooms. Don’t let the exterior and shopping center fool you! Highly recommend...

The signage gave me the impression this would be a typical "fast food" Chinese restaurant. My first surprise was that it is a restaurant. It is clean and comfortable. The server was very polite and attentive. The lunch menu has a lot of appetizers and soups. No traditional Chinese dishes. Perhaps that is saved for supper. I got the veggie spring rolls and pork with chives fried dumplings. Both were excellent.

Their beef chow fun is delicious! I'd be happy with it if I'd ordered it in NY. Did wish it had a little more noodles and a little less onion, but that's just my personal preference. The beef was very tender and nicely flavored, not traditional, but I would say I like it better than what I'm used to. I was disappointed the dim sum isn't made in house. We tried the turnip cakes, shumai, and Shanghai soup dumplings. You can tell by looking at them they're all premade frozen. That being said, I'd probably get some steamed buns while I'm there since it's a shorter drive than to get them from the Asian markets. I was skeptical because of the location, but had my hopes up because of the photos on Yelp and google, which looked legit, and they advise "high quality, fresh ingredients". There's even pictures of NY style soup dumplings on the windows. I really had hoped we'd found a new dim sum spot closer to home, but who knows, I'm hopeful they'll decide to start making at least some of their dim sum from scratch. All that being said, the service was great! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is nice and clean. I will definitely go back when I'm craving some chow fun. If you're looking for good dim sum I'd recommend Yummy House or China Yuan.

Sorry, but those who gave good reviews, try China Yuan or Halong Bay restaurants, u will be blown away. Even Japanese soup looks good but not taste wise. Saving grace was good service, though we were the only patrons on a Fri night. Wish we have real dimsum place in Springhill.

Really, really enjoy eating here! My husband and I have now been here twice and both times the service and food have been excellent. Great menu selections and the ambiance is calm, just what I like.
