Hi we stopped there for Cinco de Mayo and we finally got seated and waiter came over after 10-15 minutes to take our order service was complete horrible never came back offered refills or anything had to ask for a Bill had to get up to get my card the only thing I'm giving it one circle or one star for this cuz the food was okay service complete garbage will never return if you can't handle a holiday maybe you should have all your staff there to handle it very unprofessional this restaurant is horrible. Have a nice day

We had terrific service and probably the most awesome Mexican food we have had in quite some time. The margarita was just what I needed and we both ordered the Molcajete Carne. It was enough for TWO meals. I simply cannot understand the whiny, negative reviews. Fortunately, my hubby grew up in the restaurant business and know how ignorant some folks can be. The owner's responses to their complaints was fair and honest and we greatly appreciate the candor. We WILL return.

Service was good and friendly but the food did not match. Everything was flat, needed more seasoning. Ordered the chicken fajitas and my hubby ordered the grande burrito Margaritas were disgusting and had to be returned. Very middle of the road. Restaurant is cute

Not enjoyable. On the positive side the service was friendly, observant and quick. The food just really felt like. On one cared about it. Some of the flavors were ok, but the preparation was just lacking, undercooked mostly. There are not many other Mexican places in the area sadly, So it’s probably the best Mexican place around here... but that doesn’t make this place good.

The food was hot, the portions were good. The refried beans were better than most. I am not sure why a Mexican restaurant has to be decorated in cheap, outlandish, and stereotypical decorations. It does not make it more authentic. I think that is the problem here. You can get this type of Mex-American grub anywhere. It is almost as if this is a chain restaurant that has unique names, but scattered all over the US. You probably will not hate eating here, as i did not. But you can find this type of food anywhere, on any block, in any town. Safe, but not spectacular.

We went there Friday evening to try this place because of a recommendation! The place is clean, has nice decor! I ordered a Chula Margarita, didn't care for it! Couldn't taste any Alcohol! Wife ordered sweet tea, got regular! Me wife ordered Quesadia's with Spinich, what she got was totally different, Green Peppers! They gladly replaced the meal with something different, BURRITO! I ordered a draft Beer, the server must have poured 3 beers into that glass, ALL Foam! Beer was not cold! I doubt We'll return!

Love this place for authentic and home made. Very colorful and festive decore, fast and friendly service. Best tamales I've had in a long time. Great margaritas, drinks and beer selection. Very reasonable prices too.
This used to be my fav Mexican place but it is really gone downhill. Tonight my Chimichanga was fried to a crisp. When I tried cutting it with a knife of Brooke into little pieces. My wife's enchiladas were tasteless, not good for Mexican food. The kicker came with the bill. There was a two dollar charge for mushrooms and onions. The menu says they came with the shrimp but every other time I have been there they included it at no charge because it is confusing in the menu. When I objected to the waiter the manager to show me what the menu said. I hold him I knew what the menu said but I never been charged before, he said I will be charged from here on. I told him if he doesn't want to take the $2 off I won't came back. He chose to leave the $2 on and lose a repeat customer. Well he got his two bucks and I will never go back.

I love this place. Now I've got my husband hooked too!!!!!! So friendly, great food, good drinks. Just don't like that it's so far away from us.

Went to Chulas for an early dinner on a Saturday. Loved the colorful decor of the restaurant and the pleasant staff. Chips and salsa were good but I didn't want to fill up on those. I ordered the steak enchiladas and enjoyed it very much. Would definitely go back to try another dish.

Hot, Hot and chunky salsa. Average Bloody Marys Great pick 2 and only 10 bucks Tamale ok and Chicken Enchilada oh so yummy chips good and thick Definitely worth another trip?
