Holy moly, this Cuban sandwich has got to be one of the BEST I've ever had. I'm a picky girl considering my husband is half Cuban! We visited right after visiting the springs and it was the perfect stop before heading back! We got there a little before the rush but it's best to order ahead of time. We waited about 10 minutes for our sandwich. Just went with the classic Cuban sandwich for $13 since it was our first visit. When I opened the sandwich in the car I was impressed with how heavy it was. Literally perfect to share and lots of meat inside. The cheese was perfectly melted, pickles were perfect, flavorful pork and perfect sauce. The owner is super friendly and you won't go wrong getting a Cuban sandwich here! Just note it's cash only. Such a great sandwich!

I was told by multiple people to come here if I wanted the best Cuban in the area. I went and that's exactly what I got. Perfect Cuban, and Ray is a super cool dude. He actually gave me a small sampler plate to eat while I was waiting and it was ?.. I will absolutely be back. Best Cuban sandwich in town! I highly recommend visiting this one man show and get a Cuban sandwich you’ll be talking about well after you’ve eaten one! A long time staple located on Spring Hill drive, just down the street from the corner of Mariner and Spring Hill drives. Located in front of a small strip mall, in a distinctive white food wagon, it’s worth your time to seek him out! Call ahead 30 minutes if possible to place your order, he has a website menu to look over before you make the call. He’s popular and always busy, calling is highly advised. Tip: Try his pineapple soda (can), a taste of the island and goes well with your sandwich. Tip #2: Order one sandwich to cover two people. It’s heavy and stuffed with slow simmered pork, lean ham, Swiss cheese and pickles. Half a sandwich is plenty, trust me (unless you d been out in the desert for a week and are especially hungry!). I rated atmosphere 5 stars but this is a food wagon, no atmosphere to speak of. Get your pressed Cuban and bring home or enjoy it in your car. Tip #3: I take my Cuban sandwich and eat it at the Spring Hill garden club’s botanical garden located just down the street. They have a gazebo and picnic tables where you can enjoy your sandwich and be in a nice shaded tropical botanical garden (free). It’s a win-win for sure!
