Sign out front says they are no longer open. Phone has been disconnected. Sorry they didn't make it. They are a nice couple and tried really hard to keep it going. Sarah did a good job of running things out front while her husband took care of the cooking.

Excellent food for the right price! We have been to this hidden gem multiple times and Chef Rosario never disappoints. Homemade foods that make you think your in Italy. Great choice of wines and desserts for any occasion. Sangria is a top choice!! The Chicken Parmigiana is out of this world. Love this place, the food and most of all Chef Rosario and his wonderful family.

Friendly service. Delicious food. Some awesome options. Recommend the Agnollotti Villa Verde, the Polpettone del Vesuvio and any of the desserts.

Never have experienced a worst meal in any food establishment in my life. None of the dishes were edible. Appetizers were cold and if quality expected from a fast food chain. Entrees could not be eaten by any if the four members on my party. We told the waitress about out displeasure whointroduced us to the a rude women who claimed she was the owner. To me she look more like a dish washer and had the personality to match. Told her we would like the entrees remo ed from the bill since we did not eat them. She told us to pay them that she is not running soup kitchen. We paid the bill to avoid any additional confrontations and left to go to a diner to get a meal. Ironically, the diner food was far superior to what we just Not sure how this restaurant has not been closed by health inspectors, its seemed dirty and the bathroom was like a gas station. Worse restaurant experience ever ! Stay far away !!

Never have experienced a worse eatery in my life ! I have defined this as an eatery but this is to kind. The place looks like a truck stop eatery of the beaten path. We booked a party for my Moms 85th and order trays of lasagna, chicken marsala, and Gluten free pasta. The appetizers were grilled veggies and calamari. I will say the calamari was about average but the grilled veggies were barely edible. Veggies were like leather and had a horrible taste to them. The trays of Lasagna and Marsala as well as the gluten free past were out on the serving table covered in foil. When the waitress, really was the owners wife, pulled off the foil I couldn't believe my eyes. The tray of lasagna looked so burnt it was hard to distinguish what it was. We immediately brought this to our waitresses attention and she responded, " that's the way it suppose to be". Believe me I am Italian and have had Lasagna more than a few times in my life and it never looked black. As my guest attempted to serve themselves but had problems attempting to carve into the tray. We told the waitress to remove the Lasagna and we were told they would replace the lasagna with a tray of bake ziti. As we waited 19 of us attempted to share one skimpily filled tray of marsala and a half tray of the worse pasta I have ever tried in my life. About 50% of my guest had nothing but a scoop of the pasta as we patiently waited nearly an hour for the tray of bake ziti they promised us. As patient ran thin, we took some pictures as I notice a tray being brought out from the kitchen. To my surprise the tray was not the bake zit we waited nearly an hour for, but the birthday cake that was slammed down on the table that brought my attention to it in the first place. When I confronted the waitress as to why she brought out the cake , she informed me that they ran out of ingredients to make the bake ziti. in embarrassment, we asked for the bill and paid over $600 for the worst restaurant experience of my life. DO NOT Eat At THIS EsTABLISHMENT !!!

First off- I’ve never written a bad review in my life but-This is the WORST Italian food and service I’ve ever experience hands down. Save your money- this place makes Dominos seem like a Michelin Star Restaurant- both in food and service. I would give it 0 stars if possible.

This is the worst Italian food and service I've ever experience hands down. Save your money- this place makes Dominos seem like a Michelin Star Restaurant- both in food and service. I went for my grandmother's 85th birthday party and the level of disrespect they gave completely astounded me- especially with the fact that my family raves about this place and USED to be regulars. They put out petrified trays of food without saying a word and when asked about it they snarkly said the food's "supposed to be that way". They took the food away saying that we would get two more trays of food for our party and after two hours of waiting the food never came. More than half of our party didn't get any food and the other half couldn't eat what was given because it was absolutely disgusting. When speaking to the owner about our terrible experience and how we were not going to pay for the petrified trays of food no one could eat, the rude owner responded "this is not a soup kitchen" and continued to antagonize the party with my 85 year old grandmother getting visibility upset and embarrassed that she brought her guests to such a rude place. Get as far away from this place as possible! It's a gas station!

We were a party of 6 with reservations dining on a Friday night. Four of us are local and we were entertaining out of state guests visiting for the weekend. The locals have dined here previously and experienced slow service before, passing it off as part of the casual atmosphere of this place. On the night of this review we 6 had a lot of catching up to do so the slow service was less noticeable until one of us looked at the time. We were seated on time and ordered a round of drinks followed by our food order. Several times we asked our server to check on our food order and were told that the restaurant was busy and our meals would be out shortly. One time we were told that they had to-go orders to fill. An hour and 45 minutes passed before we got our meals. The quality of the food was average at best, certainly not worth the wait. One of our party ordered lasagna and it was burnt but he ate most of it anyway because he was hungry and, by now, it was late. There was not much to like about our visit. At no time did anyone apologize for the delay in getting our meals except for when we paid our checks. By then it was too late. We locals will not return to Villa Verde and will share our experience with our local friends as well.

Super awkward atmosphere. No music so I used YouTube on my own phone to set the atmosphere. Ordered spaghetti and it was SO bland and virtually tasteless; however the consistency of homemade pasta was decent, I'll give them that. Dessert was clearly freezer burnt I was so excited to devour the cream puff only to find out it was hard as a rock and very dry. So for 2 bland spaghettis2 glasses of wine1 small pizza 1 beer1 order bruschetta It costed 85.00 What a JOKE Go here if you enjoy:Fine dining prices in for bland food and the atmosphere of someone's living room. Also we asked if there's residents in the other part of the building (it's built like an old time motel) and the waitress replied " nobody's staying there were renovating the whole place" and when we left we crossed paths with a group who entered one of the rooms.. go figure!!
