I've heard that the food here is good, but we never got to find out for ourselves. My wife and I went here for drinks and dinner. The restaurant wasn't very busy, we were seated (rooftop) immediately. We ordered drinks and told the waitress that we would probably have more before we decided on food. We never got the second drink, our waitress disappeared, and we finally had to go look for some way to get our check and pay the bill. She got a $5 tip and we went to eat at Osteen's instead.

I do not recommend. The server was rude and inattentive. She seemed bothered by any question or request we made. We asked if the guacamole appetizer could be made without onion since we thought it was freshly made, but she was annoyed after that question and sour the experience. Food was not good. Presentation was nice but my partners tacos were on cold tortillas and cheese wasn't even melted. The space and view are nice but that's about it.

Great restaurant! My husband and I went there for dinner and it was a fabulous experience! The ambiance of the place was fantastic! Great location and great food!

The food was amazing and came fairly quickly. Prices were fair and the drinks were made perfectly. Our server was very nice and offered up some great suggestions for appetizers, entrees, and drinks. The inside seating was nice, but if possible the outdoor sitting would be recommended for the vues.

Location great, Ambiance good, Service good, food meh...i asked for a tequila on the rocks and our server suggested a "gentlemen's cube" (aka a large ice cube).. they then proceeded to charge $2 extra per drink. For ice? Sorry, but that's just a tourist ripoff. Go to Prohibition Kitchen where the food is better and the bug cubes are free.

Went to St. augustine for the day and asked a local friend for a recommendation, and was told here. I was so pleasantly surprised at everything about this place. The food, AMAZING. It took around 5 minutes to come out and it tasted great. Waitress was very quick and kind, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was so cute. Please check this place out! (Beware of birds, they will eat off your plate if you are outdoors. I did not even mind though because of how good it was.

I was pleasantly surprised in every way. Mango marg and seared tuna was perfect. On top of that, we waited not even 10 minutes. Wonderful atmosphere and my server was very friendly and attentive. Hostess smiled when we entered and sat us at a table outside with a view of downtown. Seriously some of the best food I've ever eaten. I live in Gainesville but I would make the drive just to come back here.

I would not recommend this restaurant. I got food poisoning from a veggie taco. It was so severe that it hit me before I left the restaurant.

my friend set up a reservation for a party of eight for the time of 8:30 pm on a saturday for her birthday. we arrived at the restaurant at 8:28 and had to stand in line to check in with the host stand, and by the time it was our turn, they told us we had missed our reservation as it was 8:31. they also said they had bumped the reservation and got us a sooner time but nowhere was this communicated to us; nobody texted or called that our reservation had moved up or even asked if the sooner time was okay with us. the girl at the host stand looked to be a teenager and said that there was nothing she could do. just be aware that even if you do your part as a customer with a reservation and show up on time, you'll apparently still be at fault for something out of your control. thanks to casa reina's poor service and lack of professionalism, we had to scramble to find a restaurant in the area that would take a party of our size without a reservation. not how one would want to spend their birthday. we do not intend on ever dining here, and we do not recommend it to anybody visiting the area.

Five star experience all courtesy of Steve! He was the most wonderful server! I have never experienced a server like that! He made sure that the kids were taken care of first and foremost. MHe came around to make sure that our drinks were still filled and gave us wonderful suggestions. I am not sure if I would have given five stars otherwise. The food was delicious though, I must say! The chips and queso was wonderful as well as the Chimichanga. The restaurant is super bright and trendy, I love the music inside. If you don't have strollers, it would be cool to sit outside and look out at the marina. Very nice place and will definitely return again!

Casa Reina is go to destination for those that enjoy tequila! One of the few restaurants ya in the area with an extensive tequila selection. Although usually a wait, the large restaurant moves people and therefore shorts wait, we went twice and max of 30 minute wait. Beautiful restaurant with equally expansive menu and bar selection. Mixology was good and food delicious. Our bar tender was very pleasant and engaging. Wait staff was efficient and on the move, orders were accurate and food timely. If you are in the heart of St. Augustine you will find it to be an excellent choice to take in the ambiance of the city.

Fun and festive environment in the heart of historic Saint Augustine. Stopped in while on spring break and had a wonderful meal and a very delightful environment. Calamari and stuffed jalapeños were fantastic .. The flavor profiles built into both were absolutely amazing... We had a party of six and had no time getting seated in main floor dining room. The staff was very young kind and friendly. A bit overworked as it was quite busy evening. Everyone's entrées were prepared with a plethora of flavor and taste to suit each diners taste and needs. you're a fan of sangria the guest with us who had it, that likes sangria said it was quite nice. One of our daughters had a jalapeño infused tequila and quite enjoyed it In the sea of restaurants in Saint Augustine, this serves as a very nice oasis

Cool place with a different vibe from your typical Mexican restaurant. It has a tropical feel and a nice view of the bridge. I had the short rib chile relleno and it was delicious! The chile relleno was crispy on the outside has a generous and flavorful filling of beef and cheese. The refried beans and yellow rice were the perfect side items. The tres leches cake was moist but not soggy. Our server was very attentive and friendly.

Mar 2024: Came here on Easter Sunday. Got seated on the 2nd floor outdoor area overlooking the bridge/water. It was an awesome view. We ordered the taquitos, ribeye, and short rib enchiladas. I would skip the taquitos next time. Also ordered the anejo old fashioned and mex-espresso. Drinks here are fantastic.

Waited over an hour and 20 minutes to be seated, they took back several large parties prior to seating us even though they arrived behind us and also without a reservation. The manager gave us a couple free appetizers, but the food and the wait staff were subpar. Will not be returning to this restaurant in the future. We arrived well before closing but did not get our food until almost 10pm.
