After a hot day at the beach, a walk downtown St George, and just looking for an ice cream shop for my niece, we serendipitously came across the Castillo ice cream and coffee shop.The Castillo is a quaint, delightful shop, with a relaxing atmosphere, poised just across from the Castillo de San Marco Fort with a calming view. The iced vanilla latte was one of the best I’ve ever sampled in a while. The owner, who was working today, was extremely helpful and truly delightful! This locally owned business is well maintained, with superb quality, and plenty of menu options to choose from.- A must visit for the ice cream enthusiast or the coffee aficionado!

What a little gem we stumbled upon! And the ice cream!!!! It was absolutely delicious. Best I've had in a long time. I had the banana pudding and my husband had the cappuccino crunch. I can't say enough about kind owner and her patience for my 3 little ones under 4years old. They can be a lot but she made them feel right at home. Love the array of coffee drinks as well. What a great amount of choices for all beverages she has. We can't wait to go back!
