Amazing experience, delicious food. Our server was great, very knowledgeable. Some of the best tuna sashimi I’ve ever had, and their bacon & egg ramen was great as well.

Just a lovely experience, we got to sit outside and had the whole patio to ourselves, and our server was exceedingly knowledgeable and patient. The food was really delicious.

One of the best meals I've ever had. The food blew anything I'd had before out of the water. The restaurant itself was very nice and clean. The staff was awesome. The whole experience was 10/10

I had the absolute privilege of dining at the exquisite Lotus Noodle Bar. From the moment we arrived I felt like I was being transported into another world. The aromas, vibrant colors, and open concept allowed for a warm and inviting experience. The first bite I took of the spicy tan tan was an explosion of flavors followed by a domino of layered spices. If you are in the Saint Augustine or surrounding areas, I hope you will reserve your spot for this unique and incredible dining experience!

Meal takes way too long to come up. It took at least 30 mins between appetizer and the ramen. To a point I asked is the ramen made from flour in house the waitress said no it’s store bought. The appetizer is done decoratively with a nice touch by the chef. We enjoyed the haru and the pork. I would give the appetizer 5 star by itself. For the long awaited ramen, I still don’t get why they took too long to come up, I think they are average. My $40 brisket ramen tastes almost the same as the instant beef noodle store bought. My wife’s Duck noodle Dan Dan tastes OK but nothing special. The service staff is great and the environment is good. However I do think the pricing needs look into. They are too expensive for what you get. For this price point there should be more in the dishes.

Duck ramen was grounded and tasted like ground beef. Nothing authentic or tasty about it. My partners bowl was average. For 30-35 bowl of ramen you would think it would be stellar. Save your money and go to ginger bistro across the street. Staff was nice but the ramen took 45 mins to come out.

Tucked one lot over from the Village Inn in a humble, unassuming house exists the home of one of the best meals I've ever had.I've wanted to come here since they opened and my birthday celebration was the perfect opportunity. Be sure to make reservations! This isn't a walk-in place. Parking was ample, although I can see it becoming tight depending on how crowded they get.The interior was pleasant and well-done, subtle yet comfortable. We were seated immediately and Kirsten introduced herself as our server. She provided wonderful service throughout the meal, whisking used dishes away while keeping waters full, being attentive without being overbearing. She did not rush us in any way and we were able to order appetizers and enjoy them before putting in our entrees.Like a kid in a candy shop, I ordered three appetizers to share. We had the Sweet and Spicy Sunomono, The Bloom buns, and the Hokkaido Scallop Crudo. All were an amazing combination of flavors in their own rights. Chef Barry himself served the Scallop Crudo and it was a great experience to have the opportunity to meet him.The Bloom buns were the absolute best buns I've ever tasted, served warm with a side of sweet kimchi butter that I wanted to eat by itself, a far better option to the proverbial bread baskets served in other restaurants. The Sunomono were refreshing and exciting, and I loved the crunchy contrast of the cashews. The Scallop Crudo's scallops were from Japan and served raw, which took us all off guard, yet we devoured it. Served cold with the creamy accompaniments and razor thin sliced truffles, it is a wonderful start to what was coming next.On to the main course. My wife had the Banchan served with lettuce leaves for wrapping. The pork belly was phenomenal. The kids both had the Sweet Soy Braised Brisket ramen and devoured it. I selected the Spicy Tan Tan ramen with spicy ground pork in a sesame sichuan-coconut broth and could not have been more pleased with the depth of flavors. The spice was perfect for me, making my forehead sweat without burning off my tongue. At one point I thought to save half for lunch the next day but that proved to be beyond my self-control and I finished it all, including the perfectly prepared soft egg.Side tip we learned --> there are two dishes that end in "Mazeman" and both of these are not in broth. Their noodles are mixed in a sauce instead. We couldn't leave without sharing the two dessert options. There was a Hot Cocoa and Donuts which comes with two cups of the cocoa, and Kusaki, a chocolate miso crumble cake that was beyond amazing. You need to dig your spoon all the way to the bottom as it is prepared in layers, each one better than the next. There is also a nice assortment of Japanese beers, saki, and cocktails available.Lotus Noodle Bar is a blessing and gem to have in our area, and I highly recommend trying it if you enjoy ramen or just delicious food in general. I can't wait to return.

The ambiance is exclusive, private, and cozy. It feels very intimate and there are not many tables. The service was great. We got a full overview of the menu. The saki mule was delicious. The bloom appetizer with the fried eggs and kimchi butter was epic (the butter does not have a heavy kimchi flavor, I'm not a kimchi lover but liked this). The cucumber appetizer was great. The mains we ordered were the spicy tan tan and the garlic noodle mazeman. The flavors were amazing. Easily one of the best meals offered in st augustine. The staff was friendly, thorough, and the chef checked on our table. Cannot recommend enough and we will return frequently! 11/10. Make a reservation!

WOW-WOW-WOW! Went here for my hubby's bday dinner. He is a ramen connoisseur and I wanted to surprise him. Chef Barry Honan is a genius! I'm just amazed with his passion and true professionalism. If you've ever watched The Bear... this is it! The food was extraordinary and every bite was perfectly balanced! There was so much harmony in every savoring taste...I'm grinning ear to ear just remembering each morsel! The presentation was knocked out of the park and the service made us feel special:) This is one of the most precious gems in our little StAug jewelry box. We must recognize the value of this restaurant and keep it treasured! Thank you Lotus Noodle Bar for an unforgettable evening on a Tuesday night no less! PERFECTION
