A Total DisasterApr 2024On Saturday, April 13, my wife and I and another couple went to eat lunch at Meehan's. The waitress name is Mechelle came to our table and asked what we want to drink. She was very personable and seemed very professional.They appeared to be rather busy, but eventually she came back and took our food order. That being said, the food was delicious as it has been every time we have been there. her service is the afternoon went on and got worse and worse to the point we waited almost 30 minutes before she came back to see if she could bring us our bill.We told her yes, and then I left to go to a cigar shop to pick up a lighter, 35 minutes later, my wife and our friends were still waiting on her to bring the bill. They went to the front counter and the man at the front door got the waitress to go get bill. Our bills werecompletely transposed the wrong orders for the wrong bill. Mechelle said she went to see the manager to straighten out the bill and it is still not straight. On top of that, my wife was very frustrated after waiting, almost an hour to be able to pay decided not to leave her a tip. on top of having our bills messed up l have a copy of the receipt for $46. My wife's credit card got hit for $76.Mechelle never got the bill straight, then tipped herself for terrible service after supposedly getting with the manager. Very unprofessional and I doubt that we will ever go back.We go to Saint Augustine every year and every year we eat there and have been for 10 or 12 years, I would appreciate a response and the ability to speak with someone, thank you

My wife and I stopped here for lunch while visiting St. Augustine. It was our anniversary and the day of the eclipse. We were seated at the front and had a great view of the river. I ordered the shrimp and grits and they were the best I ever had. I will stop there again just for that. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere. Give it a try!

Incredible fried oysters and chips, perfect music and ask for Walker when you come! He was an incredible waiter!
Excellent food and service. Walker was our server and he was top notch all the way, fair prices too. Definitely will be back next year. Great place with great views from the outside seating area.

The Elevator and Airplane Finder
We were looking for a new spot to try in St. Augustine and we ultimately voted to come here.We came on a Tuesday at around 7 PM and they were a little busy but we got a table immediately. Our waitress was very friendly.I had the Fresh catch sandwich with fries as my entree, it was amazing! The fish was fried perfectly, and the fries were seasoned really well.Overall, if you’re looking for a cool Irish pub in the area, give Meehan’s a shot! I’ll be back!

I’ve been here several times …AMAZING!!! Until yesterday . We drove down for date night. My boyfriend wanted to try their Shepards pie and I have been wanting their Blue cheese , peppered bacon burger !!! (That’s why we drove from jax). We ordered. I ordered my burger MR. IT CAME out over well done . So I let my waiter know. He was great.l!! Atmosphere. Amazing. So my boyfriend ate his food 30 min later they brought my burger again. The outside was burnt and the inside was RAW !!! So for dinner I ate ff and a piece of bacon. The manager said …. We have new kitchen staff. Heee hee. Giggle. I said I understand new staff but ..REALLY. They don’t have a thermometer in the kitchen? She just giggled again and brought us free cocktail. ( why would you hire a cook that can’t even cook a hamburger??). We were very disappointed to say the least. We will try this place 1 more time. …let’s hope new kitchen staff is in their future!!????
