First time visiting. Me and my wife just moved in to our new place. We walked in at 8:44. Sign on the door says they close at 9:30. After walking in we were told “sorry we stop seating customers at 8:40. Terrible way to way to treat/retain customers. If you can’t eat there past 8:40, the open hours on the door and online should reflect as so. Will not return to try food. I can only imagine how customer service must be when sitting at a table inside. Going to Donavan’s Pub!

The sushi is always good here. I think it’s better than a lot of the sushi I’ve tried here in St. Augustine. I’ve been to quite a few. We had the Green River Roll with seaweed wrap instead of the soy wrap, Red Corner Roll, Fire Belle Roll and the Dragon Roll. The Green River was my favorite and very delicious. My kids got avocado and eel rolls and they loved them. They also have the Japanese strawberry soda drinks with the balls you push down, and the kids loved those as well. The server was a gentleman and he was very attentive and nice. The overall atmosphere was nice, but a little loud because a big party was having a birthday. It was a Saturday night, so I recommend going on a weekday or for lunch if you want a quieter experience. I will definitely come back because their food is very fresh and very tasty. It was on the expensive side though. I remember when sushi rolls were in the $10-12 range, now it’s $15 at least a roll. We spent on food and drinks $150 including tip for a family of four.

Not a bad lunch special. Just had the generic bento gen tso bento box. Good price and fine service.Food wasn't mind blowing but with the lack of choices in the area, it's fine enough for lunch.

So frustrated with this place. I’ve been coming in for about 10 years now and it used to be my absolute favorite. I live 30 minutes away and was still continuing to drive here. I placed a $50 order and got home just to realize it was incorrect, which is usually the case with any orders I have special instructions on. The quality does not measure up to price anymore unfortunately.
