RL isn't what it used to be. Although St Augustine has so many fresh seafood there's no harm in going to RL. But the food is as delicious as it used to be. Who doesn't offer salad with a meal? They used too. And I don't even know what happened to their shrimp? My experience was mostly to see friends. They choose the location. I won't ever go back!

totally horrible. Only staff working was female bartender. She worked a bartender and waitress. She was pleasant, and took care of business. Young man as greeter was totally useless. Not at station, poor attitude. When performing duties as busser, left table and seat filthy - even after asking to have table recleaned. Restaurant only had 5 tables being seated, with no wait staff. Customers walked in and walked right out without any one noticing. Only good thing was bartender trying her best to satisfy all customers. At least food came out hot. Reading past reviews, looks like this red lobster has been this way for awhile. Great location, needs to be turned over

Took my whole family out for dinner for the first time in years. Arrived at 4pm on 10/15/23. Restaurant was not busy at all. We got our drinks, food ordered and biscuits in the first 15 minutes. We had to ask a waitress where our food was it was 5:20 and hadn’t seen our waiter Brian in over an hour. The waitress (unknown) and another server delivered our food. It was cold but delicious. Wasn’t gonna leave a review but this has really bothered me I had to save for a long time to bring my family out for dinner.

They could have used more waitstaff on duty. There was only 1 on duty when we arrived with someone in training that the Waitress used as an expediter. Within 20 minutes there was a second and 10 more minutes a third. She did a great job for as busy that she was for the first 20 minutes. Food was good.

Terrible experience, for being such a big chain restaurant I don't understand why they don't have a front of the house manager and a back of the house manager. I've worked in the restaurant business all my life and these front of the house waitress and bartenders should not be treated this way. It's like they were left to the wolves with no help from management. Whoever the manager that was there on November the 16th should be fired. I waited to be seated about 10 minutes then I was told it would be a 20 minute wait at that time I asked to sit at the bar, we sat at the bar for 7 minutes before she took our drink order that was just a water and a tea then waited another 9 minutes and still no drink and the bartender was waiting on a table in the dining room with no manager in site. I love red lobster but y'all have to get it together management

Not a good day at Red Lobster. They took shrimp cocktail and bacon wrapped scallops off the menu. They won't make stuffed mushrooms without the cheese topping. They only had enough Crown Royal for one drink before realizing they ran out. Not to mention an unusual long wait to be seated and to get the food.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! We had a small party of 4, our waitress came to get our drinks but we just waited and waited and then she brings us all water, I thought she was coming back with our soda or cocktail?? We waited 37 minutes for water?? I’m not a big complainer, thinking she might have forgotten the drinks we requested.. this was just the start of a a little over 2 and 38 minutes meal for 4. , simple meals were ordered but it seemed that the restaurant just didn’t have a clue, endless shrimp and I kept being brought the wrong food, we requested napkins and drink refills of the water only served even after we asked about the cocktails. I was only getting shrimp like every 30 minutes. We had ordered the linguini with red sauce, that was a joke, they brought a child’s portion of pasta and a tiny lil sauce cup for the red sauce . I’m a very optimistic person and wondered if our waitress was just having an off day, but we quickly heard other tables were having issues of very delayed service, wrong food being served or not getting your sides at all. No drink refills unless you ask and ask.. If you were expecting a great family experience, don’t waste your time.

Went for dinner, and our server Bryan was phenomenal. He made the experience more enjoyable and was able to answer any questions we had. We were pleased with our food selections, and when our preferred dessert wasn't available, he offered others, and we enjoyed them very much.

Waited over 30 minutes for the slowest service in the world. We were made to feel as if we were being difficult when we requested another server since Celeste couldn't keep up with the three tables she had. Never received our appetizer or biscuits after waiting that long, and the general manager (Kate) was aware the entire time and never once came to talk to us. I’ve been a server for over 10+ years. I’m not saying it’s not a difficult job but the incompetence from that entire team today was astounding. We ended up leaving and going to longhorn. Which within the first 10 minutes we had our drinks and appetizer and they were far busier than red lobster. Just astounding.

As an avid, seafood lover, this has become one of our favorite places! and I'm not really a chain restaurant person. The food is always delicious, portions are large and prices are fabulous! I'm a reward member, so they always give me something free too! The staff is super friendly, and always very prompt. Like many places after the pandemic they were short staffed, but having a few cocktails as always a good idea while you're waiting for dinner

Went there for b'day meal. My daughter and I got the same 2 lobsters, one from Maine the other from the Caribbean. Definitely frozen and cooked too soon. Tasteless and tough, UGH! But like what ever the biscuits are to die for. Mushrooms stuffed with anonymous seafood were a sad attempt at a usually decent appetizer. These people kill food for entertainment! The ambiance was doom and gloom. There should be a revolution at this restaurant. I wanted lobster for my b'day and because once I said that, I limited myself. You get what you deserve, sometimes.

Service was terrible. Got our first entree in about 45 minutes. I didn't get mine till another 15 minutes. 20 minutes later then they only brought my crab legs and didn't bring my side dish until we were completely done. No crackers to crack the crab legs with had to use a fork people next to us left. They never got their drinks for half an hour so they left never come back. Thanks!

I hadn't eaten here in years. I came in with my family. It wasn't even busy, but we waited like 1 hr and 20 mins for our food. Our waiter, Brian, didn't even come over to apologize for the wait. He apologized after our food was brought by someone else. So thank you to her.

They have changed the scampi typical flavor!.Server had too many tables and couldn't manage them all.Presto machines were not working and the entrance welcomes you with a funkt smell that I wish they'd air it out to get rid of it because it definitely turns away customers.
