Ribs are amazing! Service is always great.Only reason not 5 stars is because there are not any sides I typically like with BBQ like Mac n cheese or fries or mashed potatoes or green beans.No seating inside so mostly a take to go environment but there are tables outside with a view of the water.

Great smoked BBQ meat: pork cubes/chunks, sliced turkey, and beef brisket. They were out of ribs when we arrived (2pm on a Friday). The meat was tender and moist and perfectly smoked. Also got perfect portoon sizes for two people. The side selections was a little slim and all-in-all, the 3 we selected were okay. Cole slaw a little too much mayo for our taste and potatoes in potato salad not cooked enough. There is no indoor dining- definitely better for takeout as the outdoor space for eating is limited.

Located next to the visitor center, we thought it would be a no-brainer to give it a go.Overall, I would rate it as lackluster and overall disappointing.They were out of ribs, the pork was chewy, and the brisket was tough.The chicken quarters were overcooked and unedibly dry.The rice was cooked to mush, but if there were a winner- the cole slaw was ok.

It's authentic! They aren't kidding about sitting on a tree stump if you are lucky. We were lucky. I had chopped pork sandwiches (on Texas toast). Many options of sauces to choose...get two! Coleslaw was good. Wish I got the T-shirt, "Vegetarian Recovery center" or something like that. Thank you for staying open a little late on Easter!

Drove up from Daytona for ribs, we had them there year before and felt it was worth the trip. Got there at 630, and the very rude gal at register said we are out of ribs, chicken and potato salad. We said oh and we came just for those. Her reply was " I didn't make you come here" very poor customer service.

If you like a clean environment to eat, this is your place! If you are fresh, don't go! Here you will eat a good American barbecue, but everything is brutal, there are no plates or cutlery, you eat everything with your hands! There aren't many drink options, I recommend you bring your own, but the food is excellent! Ribs, brisket and chicken were excellent! I recommend it for those who are in the jungle

We were spontaneously looking today and stumbled across this great takeaway restaurant. The BBQ was one of the best we've ever had. Beef brisket, ribs, turkey, smoked beans, potato salad, coleslaw, rice, toasted bread. The various homemade sauces were perfect. Since we couldn't decide, we were given good advice and packed a bit of everything. Certainly better than anything you can get in the city.

My family visited this place when we were on vacation a while ago, staying at a hotel down the road and stopped here just on a whim. The owner, only one in the place, couldn't have been friendlier, then came the food. We ordered quite a bit from him, pretty much everything on the menu and it all was incredible. Meat was succulent, ribs and turkey fell.off the bone. Brisket was moist, all the sauces mixed well with just about everything. This is a place I will be visiting every time I'm in St. Augustine

OMG! My husband and I are locals since August 2023 and we’ve been hunting for some good old BBQ ?! He and I have been visiting historic St. Augustine long before we moved here. In fact every time we came into town we said we would stop in and try some and we’d always forget or say next time! Man were we missing out! We always said Mojo was the best barbecue in town, but not anymore! I’m going to be telling everyone about SMOKIN D’s! In fact they were out of brisket when we went in so tomorrow we’re gonna go back and get some! No one else compares!
