This used to be our go to place for happy hour and guests. Stopped going last January...it was going downhill and not paying its employees. We are back for the Winter and just decided to drive by. The building looks abandoned and sad....several broken windows....dumpster over flowing and fence in need of repair. And as expected, a "No Trespassing" sign on the front door. So, South Beach Grill is CLOSED. A waitress at a nearby restaurant said that after the new owner didn't pay his employees, he then stopped paying his landlord. It is such a great location and had such a great vibe back in the day. Hope that someone will be able to revive it one day soon!!

Stopped while on a motorcycle ride on A1A. It gives the appearance of a small beachside bar and grill and does not disappoint. Sandwiches were good, service acceptable, price reasonable, atmosphere as expected. There are numerous negative comments in the preceding reviews. If you are expecting to eat at a stainless steel table that is sterilized between customers and you are upset with the wind blowing a bit of sand in your lunch, keep driving. While the mask wearing mandates and recommendations seem to change frequently I do believe that the staff and customers were compliant with the current Florida regulations. If you are focused on the extremes of COVID protection and drove here on I-95, alone in your car, wearing your mask, keep on driving. If you are looking for a good meal, at a reasonable price and a bit of Florida beach atmosphere, stop by.

Cold under cooked fish, shrimp, beans and rice, an hour wait make this a no return spot. Even the salsa was old. They do not sanitize tables between guests nor wear masks.

This was a “go to” place for us. I know there has been upheaval in the food service world with COVID, however, you can clean your place. Wet mop smell greeted us at the door. To be accompanied by sticky table and menus. Restrooms needing attention. Number one turn off. Our lunch selections, tuna nachos and fish sandwich were good. My husband said the grease was on the crest of needing to be replaced. My next beef was with our server. She was friendly and attentive to us. When not waiting tables she was having a very LOUD, open conversation with a couple at the bar about bad customers, the new owner and his flaws. Number one rule of retail anything “don’t talk about customers in front of customers”. Sadly, you’re off our list. Wishing you luck in these trying times.

Food was subpar - service was not friendly. I called to ask about my bill that was put through and the "manager" was very condescending. Wont be returning

Decent food and service, but absolutely none of the employees wear masks. Beware of this, I will not return until covid-19 is eradicated. The masks protect me from your germs and you are walking around speaking to 100s of people with no mask. Clearly, this business does not care about its employees or customers.

The food was mediocre, the service was fair, and the drinks were weak. Listen to the reviews, this place really kind of sucks. Oh, and none of the staff wear masks. Would never go back.

Do Not waste your money. Im actually mad I had to pay for this experience. All of the food was pretty bad. They served us old alligator bites. They were an appetizer that didn't come out until dinner. They remade them for us and they were better , but still not good. We got fish tacos, terrible. Tuna nachos, mediocre. Burger was basic. Waited a long time for bad food. Just poor quality.

I was so excited to see they offered corn tortillas for tacos upon request as I am on a gluten free diet. I ordered the fish tacos, which were Cold and served on a flour tortilla. I called my server over and he took my plate back to the kitchen. Returning he advised they were out of corn tortillas. Since the rest of my party was almost done eating I said I would just eat the fish. The cole slaw was old, not a bit of crunch and flavorless, as was the rice and beans. No offer to take something off the bill. First and last meal at South Beach Grill for me!

Came here on recommendatiion from B and B we were staying at. We wanted to eat on the oceanside so we gave ot a shot. Typical seaside fare but everything we had was bad. No flavor, served either too hot or tepid, as it had obviously been cooked and then left sitting for awhile. Even their "homemade" sangria was awful. Server was useless, had to chase him down to get the check. Would not recommend unless you really just want to sit outside and can't find anything else open. Even then, think twice.

The place appears run down over the years and the food is not only lack luster, so is the appearance of it. This used to be a favorite place to dine but no more.

A comedy of errors. I want them to win and to be good because theres potential but this is a failure to launch. Perpetually understaffed and slow as molasses. Have had more than 3 attempts to redeem my experience but after this last time we are calling it quits. Called in an order to pick up, showed up when they said to, food was not ready and they forgot half of it.

Absolutely disgusted at their chicken wings. No idea how long they let these sit out for but they are absolutely shriveled up and disgusting. The salads include a lot fo arugula and black olives, no lettuce at all. At least their French fries and ranch dressing is good...
