Ordered a strawberry margarita- it was good but just juice. The chicken flautas tasted like the oil they were fried in, and the chicken was smushed left over- not good at all. Honestly not a good place for food. Nice decor though!

Taco Queen in Saint Augustine truly lives up to its name as a reigning monarch in the world of tacos! I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic eatery, and I must say, I was blown away by the tacos! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The vibrant decor and cozy ambiance set the perfect mood for enjoying some mouthwatering tacos. Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the TACOS! The tortillas were soft and freshly made, holding together the delicious fillings with finesse. From traditional options like carne asada and al pastor to creative fusion creations, Taco Queen offers an impressive variety that caters to every palate. Don't forget the fried cheese on the taco! The friendly and attentive staff made the dining experience even more enjoyable. They were happy to offer suggestions and ensure that each guest felt like royalty throughout their visit. The menu also includes other delectable items like quesadillas, nachos, and fresh guacamole, adding to the feast of flavors.Another highlight of Taco Queen is their commitment to using fresh and high-quality ingredients. It's evident that they take great pride in delivering authentic and delicious Mexican cuisine to their customers.I highly recommend Taco Queen to anyone looking for an exceptional taco experience in Saint Augustine. Whether you're a taco aficionado or just want to explore new and exciting flavors, Taco Queen has something to satisfy everyone's cravings.

We came in close to closing and weren’t rushed. The area around the business was not appealing but inside even though small it was clean. We weren’t sure what to order but the cashier suggested some things and we weren’t disappointed!! Great good. Great prices. Great service. Can’t wait to go back.

I heard talk about it being good so here I am. This taco connesiur had the queens three, a trio of tacos in corn and with ground beef. Said yes to the sides of rice and beans. Found service was friendly and the place was bright and clean. The tacos went down quick and are definitely worth coming back for more. Cheese and lettuce are fresh and the rice and beans were just as good. I saw burritos being served that were huge so need to check that out next time. Taco Queen is on my list of places to eat for good tacos now. give them a try

My daughter chose this place and I'm glad she did. The service is fast and the food is delicious. Once you sit down and look over the menu you go up to the counter and place your order then pay. The music is very enjoyable with lots of seating.

Found our way to Taco's Queen for lunch. It was a recommendation from a longtime local. We arrived shortly after noon and there were about 3 tables and several seats at the counter available. We were handed our menus and told we could sit wherever we would like but to come back to the register to order. Our order included queso dip & chips for an appetizer, flautas, and the "choose three". I'd estimate it was around 12:30pm when a whole bunch of people arrived for lunch, and they were not all together. Not a single table, inside nor out, was open and the line seemed to keep growing. My favorite was the flautas. Chicken was flavorful and not dry from the double cooking. Toppings were fresh and crisp. Least favorite was the queso dip. It was more of a queso sauce than dip. It was very thin and runny. The chips were good, and the accompanying salsa was good too. Employees were friendly and welcoming.Restaurant was clean. Getting there from the east (headed west) is a bit tricky. Please be patient and the traffic will open enough to let you cross.

Great spot for some quick Mexican. When you first walk in, you're greeted with some menus and told to sit where you like and to order at the counter when you're ready. We always start with the complimentary chips and salsa (first basket only). This is my third time coming and always try something new each time. Their Verde sauce is killer and a must try. On this visit, we opted for some tacos, enchiladas, and esquite.Their food is always consistent, fresh, and hot, and their service is always quick, fun, and pleasant. This is a top contender for best Mexican restaurant in St. Augustine in my book. They even have some fun shirts to buy, if that's your thing. Lastly, if you're near Holmes & 207, they also have a food truck!

Wow. Great food and lots of it for a reasonable price. I had a peach margarita which was excellent. The burritos were good sized and served with rice and beans. Workers were friendly and attentive. Super clean too.

This is a small restaurant run by a family. The food is delicious. It's better than any "Mexican" restaurant food we have ever had. It's a little tricky to find. It's located East of the freeway , next to a Comfort Inn, sort of behind a Dairy Queen. There is free parking next to the building. You place your order at the counter and they give you a number to put on your table. They bring complimentary chips and salsa and deliver your food order when it's ready. It was across the street from the Fairfield Inn where we were staying, and because it was SO good we ate there twice. My husband had a combo plate and I ordered Ala carte. The refried beans are served in a bowl with cheese on top and they are more like a thick soup, and really tasty. This place is worth checking out. You won't be sorry. It's a place where locals eat and it's very casual.
