Nice on the edge of the town restaurant with great seating options inside and out. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly and attentive. We ate on a Sunday night and a lot less people in town. We really enjoyed all the food. Recommend the escargots and roasted chicken dish. The Chocolate lava cake was a nice finish to the meal.

The evening was phenomenal. A party of 4, we started with a charcuterie board with three amazing cheeses and meats. Next, foi Gras and escargot: also amazing. Our shared entry was the mushroom risotto and beef bourguignon: delicious. We finished with coffee and creme Brule. Of course there was some terrific wine in the mix. Additionally, the staff was cheerful and friendly. We will definitely be going back to this restaurant.

If you have the chance, please sit at the bar with Bridget. She is hospitable, knowledgeable and engaging. Best place for an upscale unpretentious dining experience in St. Augustine. 4 stars!!

Amazing food and service. This is a must on your list for food in St Augustine. The sea bass melts in your mouth. The house made apple honey truffle sauce was tasty and the crème brûlée is the best I've ever had.

Great food, excellent service. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside is cozy and romantic. There's also a large patio out back.

My husband and I had a WONDERFUL meal here during a recent trip to St. Augustine! The menu choices were enticing, the food was just delicious, and the server was welcoming and took care of everything. One of the best evenings of our trip!

Okay, this place is insane. I wish I could give you guys some sort of downside as there usually is with some places, but The Drunken Horse is quite literally the best restaurant I've ever eaten at. Food melts in your mouth, service is outstanding (we love Jim), and the ambiance is to die for. They make you feel special here. The first time we ate here was Night of Lights, and the entire Old Town was PACKED. I mean it was insane, we picked a terrible night to go. However despite that, we wandered up to the front of DH after putting our names on several long wait lists, and were sat immediately! The back porch was beautiful and quiet, away from the rowdiness of the night. We were told that we could close our eyes and point to anything on the menu and be satisfied, and Jim was correct. We got the Scallops, Salmon, and Beet salad and all were amazing. Jim picked wines out that would go with our meals. Sadly, we had to turn away the crème brûlée because we had previous plans for desert. I was blown away by the service and quality, both times. We recently went back again for a little bite to eat while we were visiting Old Town again, and once again we're pleased with everything. This time we got the crème brûlée and it was everything you could ever dream it to be. I've read the bad reviews, and I truly feel bad for those people, this place is amazing and a true hidden gem. Prices are great and match everywhere else in Old Town. Except here, the price matches the quality. I'll be taking all of my out of town friends and family here!
