As we arrived for day one of family fun summer vacation, we stopped at a pretty “touristy” spot with tram tours, a giant discounted ticket hut, the works of an out-of-state tourist goldmine. On the other hand, us natives to Florida stop there for a few things. The coupon booklet for almost everything in town, some nice pictures, and as a lover of spices and seasonings to add that extra zest to the fan’s food one must stop at the Spice & Tea Exchange in St. Augustine! The staff there are absolutely superb, very friendly, and don’t hover over you as you browse. You’re welcome to open and smell the sample containers. They have everything from traditional seasonings with a twist to international rubs such as tandoori and Korean bbq. Additionally, they have a great selection of teas. Ranging from all levels of caffeine. We purchased the chocolate chai tea for a different twist on a family favorite. My daughter is obsessed with salmon, we could not leave without a new seafood rub. We chose the salmon tea rub. I could have purchased the entire store if the Mrs. didn’t stop me. Next time, we must try the tandoori, Korean bbq, and various chai teas. You can also select a free recipe card when you purchase.

Found this Adorable Tea Bar while I was having a lunch meeting in San Marco. Funny thing was I was just telling someone I wish we had a Tea Spot... I swear I manifested this place some kinda way But anyway lol, it's an Adorable little Tea Bar with sooooooooo many different type of teas and seasonings u can choose from. All of the Tea herbs are in Jars and you can pop the top and smell the flavors of the teas......Same thing goes for the Seasonings. While there, they can make you whichever kind of Tea u chose. I needed a detox from all the Drinking I've been doing, so I choose the Honey Bee Ginger Elixer. Didn't really taste like much, but there's a few more I will try. I bought the Truffle Salt and Bleu Burger seasoning...they smelt like Heaven

Cool little shop. Interesting spices, flavored salts and sugars, and teas.

Everything is usually very great and I will continue to visit when I'm in town and get teas because they are delicious. Just lost a star because the saffron is poor quality and tastes like plastic which usually indicates imitation.

Really cool

The smells take you away in a good way. Everything can be opened and tested.

Jenna was the cashier who helped me there! She was so incredibly sweet & also knowledgeable & answered all my questions. She gave me a lil Birthday treat & recommended me to a nearby Mexican restaurant for my Birthday too. What a sweetie! This place is amazing & I will definitely be returning & also ordering some of the products sold online! Thank you Jenna!

Diverted from my program- lol. In St Augustine with a to-do list & on one of our tours we dipped into this parking lot & made sure to come back! I've been shopping the Spice & Tea Exchange for more than a decade. Today John picked the Sunshine Spice & I picked the Sunshine Tea! Coincidence- but funny! We sampled the blueberry black tea, which I loved & John didn't, but to be fair- it was unsweetened. He's a sweet tea kinda guy. The lovely young lady suggested it with lemon & I replied lemoncello! Made a friend! Lol. I didn't know this company originated here in St Augustine!
