Came to the Car Musem and was looking for a place for lunch and ran into this little jewel. Tender hibachi steak, the filet appetizer was also tender and balanced in taste. Really enjoyed the Thai tea and the tempura bananas for desert.

This is our third time having take out from Umai and the food has been consistently great. Service was nice and pleasant when we ordered and picked up. We are looking forward to having a date Umai because of the food and the clean and beautiful ambiance of the restaurant. Umai has become our new go to sushi restaurant!

The restaurant was not slammed or crazy busy.Ordered drinks after a bit and my food was out before the drinks. Continued to wait in the drinks while the waitress waited on other tables and brought them their drinks. The miso soup I was given was lukewarm. We were finally given drinks for the party of 3. The waitress walked by several times disregarding the waiting dishes to be taken away and an empty drink. I asked on the third time if I had to order a new drink or how I got a refill. My friends were waiting on their food over 10 minutes after I got mine so the combination of that and the waitress. This was a poor experience and not sure if I would come back based on this service I experienced. Also spoke to 2 different people about the issue When leaving ask for A to go container they couldn’t even find that so my $18 meal was now junk. I should’ve just taken the plate.

We ordered this for delivery through Uber eats on a Sunday around 5 pm. The order ended up coming about 10 minutes early which was a nice surprise. We ordered the fried tofu appetizer & it was light & crisp. We ordered the pineapple fried rice & the chicken fried rice. Both tasted like typical Japanese fried rice. Tasty & a nice portion! We got a few sushi rolls they were all delicious. The food came and it was still warm. It was fresh & flavorful.

We were so impressed by this place! The best Hibachi we've eaten anywhere in the country! Our sushi was delicious and presented perfectly! My steak was cooked amazingly and melted in my mouth! Our waiter, Harrison, was on top of it! He never let our glasses get empty or a dirty plate stay on our table!! You've got to try this!
